Simply because I'd made a mistake typing it out. I deleted it, corrected it then tried to copy-paste it back in but it failed to upload.

All I'd originally posted was along the lines of "I wonder what Page and Plant think of this; I hope they realise that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery..." or something along those lines.

I have heard many interpretations of this song.. I like Dred Zeppelin the best. This one mate is certainly unique. I don't know Rolf but I will do me research.. the story is he was asked to sing this, but when they went to play the original he declined to listen to it saying he would do it his own way, without any knowledge of the original, he certainly put a new slant on it

LOL at all the pretenders who think Led Zep did the original of this.This was written by Rolf when he was just out of art school and Jimmy Page picked it up from him then and showed it to the rest of the band giving the version we're most familiar with.

Great to hear it in its original and true form on here though.

Yeah and I hate it when some people think that Zeppelin covered this. ZEP was the original artist. They released this in 1971, Rolf Harris covered this in 1993! Excuse me but Zep beat him to it way before. Harris is a good parody artist and he made a great version of Walcing Matilda. Just play the original on guitar and you will realize and have some level of respect for Zep's talent, it's not easy to play all the way through.

Try that and then come back to me Zep or Page are not as talented.

But you know, this came out, officially, in 1993, though he was performing it in the 80's. He did cover it. However, he does state that he did not know the song before hand, but seeing as the original came out in 1971, that nevertheless makes it a cover.

If you look back at Rolfs contribution to entertainment  (oh ... and looked at his art) you will come to the conclusion that he is no idiot.. Also if you had time to read my comment, on the right of this page, you might realise that he sorted this from the sheet music and sang it in his indomnitable style, similar to Sun Arise, with wobble board and didgeridoo (he uses an accordion in this cover ... but not in Sun Arise) I would like to add that I think he would be proud to be called a clown

I love the original, and Rolf's is an amazing take on that with his own added humorous touches. His art is breath-taking- I love Sunrise Taj Mahal- but they are all marvellous!!!!! Awesome job with the vid-5*!
