A couple of minor fires are not going to cause "insufficient resistance" and certainly not catastrophic failure such as we see in the videos. Couple that with nano-thermite chips in the dust samples found by independent scientists, and it's a no-brainer. Couple that with firemen telling bystanders to move away cause the building is coming down, and that's it.

There is no way WTC 7 could have collapsed the way it did without the entire support columns at the base of the building having been removed(or destroyed) first. If any of the support columns at the base would have still been intact, then we would have seen the part of the building above those columns still standing. The way 7 falls proves to me a controlled demolition, someone destroyed the under-structure of the building.

All the footage from after the towers' collapse is from the other side, since no one would be crazy enough to stand in the thick of it and take pictures, so most of the damage to 7 is hidden. An aerial photo clearly shows a huge chunk of the southwest corner missing; from the other side, you miss the gory details, so it looks like a demolition.
"Blow up" was unfortunate word choice, that's all.
Incorrect. If you have researched this correctly you would know that the building had already sustained damage and was 'twisting' on its frame and had settled 1/2 of one storey before it collapsed. The roof showed that parts of the top had settled oddly.
The building should not have fallen straight down. I might have accepted their story if the building fell partly over or chunks fallen off, but not the entire building going straight down, falling with no resistance.
@molitor2005 The videos only show the collapse of part of the north & west facades. The collapse actually began on the east side which the video don't show. Also, a big portion of the NE side broke off and smashed into the building at 30 W. Broadway. The collapse wasn't nearly as clean as conspiracy charlatans would have you believe.

The sad part with the WTC buildings with the way they were designed with extended floors and very little concrete encased steel and such minimal fire coating on the steel, they may have collapsed from such an intense fire with no planes hitting them in 5-6 hours which is kind of scary in itself.
@Skeptic121 Yes they did. They did some inspections from 1969 on and added some fire insulation in the 90's but it was still deficient. There are some showing the coating with gaps in it and such. Of course you say it can;t be proved that those are actual WTC pictures but what can I tell you.

@Skeptic121 First, I'm from Brooklyn and I knew 4 people who were murdered that day at one point or another in life so if there was anything that pointed to intentional destruction outside of Al-Qaeda, then I would want to investigate it further but there is nothing that points to conspiracy to take down the buildings outside of damage caused by the planes directly and the fire aftermath working on unprotected steel to heat and weaken it, not melt it but weaken the remaining supports.

@Skeptic121 They say that no skyscraper ever collapsed before like this but no skyscraper ever got hit by a Jumbo jet before either with an uncontrollable fire. The Empire State building was hit by WWII bomber in the late 40's but it was a fairly small plane and the ESB's steel was was protected by concrete and brick with much less fire which was all key to the WTC collapse. WTC 7 was hit by debris from the towers and had two 8-16 story gashes in the left lower corner starting from floors 3-5

It only takes one floor to collapse for a building to come down and the lower floors were engulfed in flames which had deisel fuel tanks adding to the intesity of the fires. The video that is most commonly shown of the collapse is from the opposite side of the building. If you look closely you can see the opposite side corner collapse before the rest of the the building. It also didn't fall anywhere near free fall speed which is d = -(1/2)g*t^2.

@tryithere NIST has acknowledged 2.25 seconds of free fall. You are right; MOST of the collapse was NOT at free fall, but 25 meters WAS. Interpretation: NIST does not include an interpretation of the 25 meters of free fall in its final report. Physics tells us that 25 meters of free fall means a 25 meter segment of vertical support was suddenly removed from all over the base of WTC7. WEAKENED beams cannot explain free fall. Only a 25 meter segment SUDDENLY REMOVED can explain free fall.

@PoetryHound Buildings such as Building 7 are built to handle factors of safety several times the load they are expected to encounter. A couple of minor fires are not going to cause "insufficient resistance" and certainly not catastrophic failure such as we see in the videos. Couple that with nano-thermite chips in the dust samples found by independent scientists, and it's a no-brainer. Couple that with firemen telling bystanders to move away cause the building is coming down, and that's it.

@doremi9 Fire fighters knew it was coming down because they used a transit to check for movement and it turned out WTC 7 was leaning. Structural damage along with the fire caused it come down. Nano thermite was never used. If your reffering to the nano chips that Stevens Jones likes to show off, it's paint chips, nothing more.

Later, he admitted free fall occurred, after being called on it by David Chandler and others. At that time, he did NOT discuss the implications of free fall.

@PoetryHound Insults are not arguments. I have repeatedly asked debunkers to propose other hypotheses to explain free fall. The best hypotheses fall into two classes: brittle steel that shatters when overloaded, and "knee joints" that offer no resistance once bent (imagine clipping in football). Both are pretty lame, but I welcome others.

There is no way WTC 7 could have collapsed the way it did without the entire support columns at the base of the building having been removed(or destroyed) first. If any of the support columns at the base would have still been intact, then we would have seen the part of the building above those columns still standing. The way 7 falls proves to me a controlled demolition, someone destroyed the under-structure of the building.

All the footage from after the towers' collapse is from the other side, since no one would be crazy enough to stand in the thick of it and take pictures, so most of the damage to 7 is hidden. An aerial photo clearly shows a huge chunk of the southwest corner missing; from the other side, you miss the gory details, so it looks like a demolition.
"Blow up" was unfortunate word choice, that's all.

Also, a big portion of the NE side broke off and smashed into the building at 30 W. Broadway. The collapse wasn't nearly as clean as conspiracy charlatans would have you believe.

Gawd, it drives me insane seeing how many people can't comprehend the difference between a fire collapse and a demolition (never mind the whole "steel frame buildings don't collapse from fire" detail). When a fire takes a structure down, it comes down in pieces, bits here and there, partial collapses, etc. Fire taking down a building does NOT cause a perfect, free fall speed collapse of the entire structure! Open your damn eyes people! Idiots can't see the forest for trees.

The sad part with the WTC buildings with the way they were designed with extended floors and very little concrete encased steel and such minimal fire coating on the steel, they may have collapsed from such an intense fire with no planes hitting them in 5-6 hours which is kind of scary in itself.

@Skeptic121 Yes they did. They did some inspections from 1969 on and added some fire insulation in the 90's but it was still deficient. There are some showing the coating with gaps in it and such. Of course you say it can;t be proved that those are actual WTC pictures but what can I tell you.

@tryithere Let's say they are pictures of WTC7. I am wondering if WTC7 was the worst case of poor insulation in a building that later suffered a fire. I ask because NO skyscraper other than WTC7 has ever collapsed the way WTC7 did because of a fire. Actually, NO skyscraper has ever collapsed for ANY reason other than demolition.

@Skeptic121 First, I'm from Brooklyn and I knew 4 people who were murdered that day at one point or another in life so if there was anything that pointed to intentional destruction outside of Al-Qaeda, then I would want to investigate it further but there is nothing that points to conspiracy to take down the buildings outside of damage caused by the planes directly and the fire aftermath working on unprotected steel to heat and weaken it, not melt it but weaken the remaining supports.

@Skeptic121 Being that there were 20-30 story buildings above the crash sites that took out 1/3 of the supports at the crash, most buildings would have fallen at the point of the crashes. @Skeptic121 They say that no skyscraper ever collapsed before like this but no skyscraper ever got hit by a Jumbo jet before either with an uncontrollable fire. The Empire State building was hit by WWII bomber in the late 40's but it was a fairly small plane and the ESB's steel was was protected by concrete and brick with much less fire which was all key to the WTC collapse. WTC 7 was hit by debris from the towers and had two 8-16 story gashes in the left lower corner starting from floors 3-5

It only takes one floor to collapse for a building to come down and the lower floors were engulfed in flames which had deisel fuel tanks adding to the intesity of the fires. The video that is most commonly shown of the collapse is from the opposite side of the building. If you look closely you can see the opposite side corner collapse before the rest of the the building. It also didn't fall anywhere near free fall speed which is d = -(1/2)g*t^2.

@Skeptic121 The building to the roof was 741 feet which calculates to 6.8 seconds. The building took at least 11-12 seconds to collapse and the roof still had about 10 stories to go.

@tryithere NIST has acknowledged 2.25 seconds of free fall. You are right; MOST of the collapse was NOT at free fall, but 25 meters WAS. Interpretation: NIST does not include an interpretation of the 25 meters of free fall in its final report. Physics tells us that 25 meters of free fall means a 25 meter segment of vertical support was suddenly removed from all over the base of WTC7. WEAKENED beams cannot explain free fall. Only a 25 meter segment SUDDENLY REMOVED can explain free fall.

If you want to be a good American you need to say "Building What?" instead of Building Seven. If you want to be a good American, you need to translate properly.
"Keep your eye on that building; it'll be coming down" and "going to blow up" must be translated into civilian vocabulary as "fire will cause structural failure"
