  • Well they sure have been doing this for a while.

  • Christ also teaches about love and how much He loves us. I guess Jed forgot about that part when he acted like a damn fool at my school.

  • Brother jed just came to NMSU and things got really ugly

  • Hahahaha. He's at A&M this week. We had words today. :) :) :)

  • Im Christian however I disagree with the bigot minds of people like them. It's funny, they talk about how you can't read the bible out of context, and they condemn homosexuality, but every mention of it in the bible has it's own reason why it is not valid, but they're taken out of context.

  • I loved watching Jed and Cindy on the Oval at Ohio State in the early 80s. Springtime theater in the round!

  • Atheists are much more prepared today than they were back then.

  • Brother Jed and Sister Cindy came to my university earlier this year. I can't wait until they are both DEAD.

  • The audience applauded when that lady said that Mark Twain was burning in hell?

  • Can you de-circuncise yourself?

  • Wow sister Cindy didn't look bad at all in the 80s.

  • All of their daughters are HOT

  • YAY!! Jed and Cindy are psychos!!

  • God Almighty, what is this world coming to? We need to repent and pray hard for this world. Lord have mercy on us. God Bless Brother Jed and Sister Cindy!

  • Bro. Jed is here at my university (ASU) today, and he's bringing his crazy wife with him. I protest it.

  • I go to ASU too, me and my friend had a long debate with him lol

  • Good Golly. I am personally a Christian, but I can understand an athiest point of view. However, this dude can't argue worth anything. I mean, come on. FOUR days to create the universe? It was six, and God rests on the seventh. Its why we have a seven day week - the tradition is from very ancient days. When they asked him, I expected him to be like BAM, BAM, BAM, laying out the contradictions. Rather anticlimactic really :P Saddly, Jed wins this one.

  • I completely agree with you. I'm an atheist and I have nothing against religion. But this guy has no ability to verbalize any of his opinions. Before entering an intellectual argument, one has to research. I would have never entered a situation like this without having read the Bible first.

  • I remember this show! I also remember very well the day I saw Brother Jed and Sister Cindy, and another member of their following. It was around 1985 at my university campus in North Carolina. They told my friend she was going to hell for wearing blue jeans. Another friend they said would go to hell for living in a college dorm. In the end, they said we would ALL go to hell for attending a "secular, humanist" university.

  • the bible is a compilation of what the catholic church deemed relevant. if people read the books that were left out, the church would colapse, which is what the church should do, colapse. we have the right to govern our own minds, believe what we believe, and not be told by some high and mighty pretentious prudes how we should live our lives. and sister cindy, ha, she made me laugh. what a stupid, stupid individual.

  • I have made several protest videos on how to deal with open air preacher or street preachers. I like what stan marsh did in south park to john edwards and I may simulate the reasoning from it. We have actually done a public excommunication of brother jed at asu.

  • Love him or hate him, Jed hasn't changed over the period of years and years, and he wasn't willing to compromise for "Sally" and her audience. And if you want people listening to you on a campus, to be boring and non controversial isn't going to be very entertaining.

  • you dont get it do you? He doesn't reach people on campus. I know because he's based at my University, and people do not react positively to him.

  • Yeah, but Jed is way WAY off! I've seen him in person before. Cindy says he "hasn't sinned" since they got married. Not just "THAT" kind of sin, ANY kind! Jed is in a lot of denial. He probably doesn't reach many people at all because he's all hellfire & brimstone, and that doesn't tell anyone a THING about what Jesus Christ can do in their life! Jed needs to re-read that part that says in 1 John "If we say we HAVE no sin, we LIE and the truth is not IN us." That was written to CHRISTIANS!

  • @HogRebel Yup, that's 1 John 1:8. If we read further, we find the reason/ purpose/ cause/ motivation/ impetus/ BASIS for the Authors' wholeletter is ".. so that we will not sin.."

PRAISE GOD!!! Isn't that GOOD news???! A very important thing to consider is that someone in real love will defend their loved one. What do you defend? FREEDOM from sin- or freedom TO SIN???!

Just wondering... AND THIS IS WRTIITEN TO CHRISTIANS!! ha

  • @MrPaulVanRavenswaay You show me a Christian who says they don't sin anymore, and I'll take a full-sized photo of them with the title " The World's Biggest LIAR". Yes, after we are saved, it is our heart's desire NOT to sin, but we haven't reached perfection yet. Not this side of Heaven. And if he OR Cindy thinks he/they haven't, they're sadly deceived. Because first of all, that's PRIDE, probably the greatest sin of all. Sorry, Jed, you haven't "arrived" yet. : o

  • @HogRebel Also, the Christian believes that they have someone to pray for them in heaven IF they do sin. And if anyone's prayers count for anything, it should be the SINLESS SON OF GOD!! Amen? Look and live!

  • @HogRebel

Another bad interpretation---"we haven't reached perfection yet"---all these verses you're quoting about perfection, go look them up. Read the full context, they're about reaching or receiving your new body in Christ's return---not about living holy. Jesus said to Be Holy, to Be Perfect--and He was not talking about your newly received body, look at the context.

    You're deceived.

  • @HogRebel

Yeah, 1 John 1:8,10 is speaking about denying ever sinning in your life---have you ever read the rest of the epistle of 1 John? This comment you have above is 3 years old, so hopefully by now you've learned and read it, if not---then this stands as a judgment to you for not learning more about the Scriptures.

Go read 1 John 2:1-10, 1 John 3:1-10.... then you can clearly see it's not speaking about current sins in 1 John 1:8,10, -it's specifically a Gnostic warning to be exact

  • Have bits been cut out, or is it just an old tape, i wanted him to "name one" but it goes silent then fuzzy and back to normal after he's said whatever he's said to thunderous applause!!!! :(

  • Damn dude, this atheist is not prepared to debate someone. I don't believing any of the crap Jed spews out, but come on buddy. He's making you look like a retard. Contradictions in the Bible are easy to find, but you didn't even prepare for the show and have 2 or 3 in your head to bring up? Shit. You make atheists look stupid and thats hard to do.

  • Apparently not! This dude is the president of his organization. He did come up with 2 "contradictions", but they were shot down with the truth.

  • Off topic--but love the 80's hair styles!

  • I'm in one of their videos. I'm holding a sign that reads, "You do not yet know the Power of the Dark Side."-Vader V:22. They called me a Heckler. They hate me so much. I kinda miss 'em. Bro Jed, Come back to MU. I need a way to kill an afternoon for free.

  • He came to Iowa City last week...he really just picked the WRONG university to come to.

  • Jed is kicking that arrogant atheist's ass

  • These people came to my campus last week. It caused an uproar. Brother Jed is still saying the same old stuff, and Sister Cindy still looks like a lizard. They have a teenage daughter now and they're taking her along with them. Yes, they have offspring.

  • eternal hell fire lol

  • I saw them at San Diego State in the late 1980s. They were calling guys "whore mongers" and girls "sperm swallowers"...Afterward my friend Cathy and I walked by and said in overly-loud voices (her) "I can't wait till tonight so I can swallow some SPERM!!" and I said "Yeah, and I can go WHORE-MONGER!!" Brother Jed turned and yelled "OH GO DO IT IN A CUP!!"

If THIS is Christianity, then Dana Carvey's Church Lady is the Madonna!!!!!!!

  • I've met Brother Jed. I thought he was pretty chill. I had no idea he was on Sally.

  • I met both Brother Jed and Sister Cindy at U of L back around summer of 1980. At first I had no idea they were serious. I was new to campus and at first I thought it was just some college guys doing a skit. Suddenly he points he finger down at me and screams "WHORE MONGER!"

  • I think they are serious, but I also think it's schtick. My take on it is if they tried to have some pointy-headed discussion of theology on campus, probably about 10 people would show up. What college kid would even bother to listen if they weren't so entertaining and over the top? I'm not a fundamentalist but they don't say much different than what you would hear growing up in a traditional Christian home.

  • Go jed!

  • All the clips are very entertaining.

  • Just wanted to make sure everyone also checks out Parts 2 and 3, which are far more entertaining than Part one. Part 1 seems to be getting far more hits than Parts 2 and 3 so far.

  • do you have any episode on sally about those out of control teenagers? man I grew up watch those.

  • I wonder if the "rational" guy is still alive... hopefully he's repented...
