where did you get your dark screen theme? I looked for compiz fusion and I cant find it, I was ont he site once, but I cant get to it again...

I have two partitions C: and D: the recovery files. PC has also 2 gig ram. 32 bit operating system, its an intel core 2, 1.80GHZ.

Hi alb4lif3, of course you can, the ubuntu installation media will make a new partition from the c: (a graphical tool will help you to do that). Once installed, a bootloader will let you choose Windows or Linux when you start your computer. Always backup your important datas before even if there's no way that ubuntu crashes your windows.
