You've got to be kidding me, man! One of my bells is Natasha! Have you been stalking me! Just kidding. Good stuff, bro. Very strange though. I think cool =)
Terrific wokout, it doesnt matter how much weight you lift, but how you lift it right? have you ever tried invert biceps curls w/ kettlebells? i added those to your workout, by the way i started the work out 3 months ago at 196 pounds now im 225 pounds (4 times per week eat balanced and restng well) one more time GREAT workout
That's awesome! Also, way to rework your eating and sleep habits, as well. Most folks leave those elements out of their game plan. Keep us posted on your training successes
Nice one brotha! Man I figured you for a comic fan. If I had brought up Superman and/or Transformers earlier today, we would probably still be at Border's shoot'n the shit. Love that burpee variation. Any one who says you can't build a serious bod. w/ burpees isn't doing them correctly or is smok'n crack
I'm sorry Pal, I know you're trying hard, but there is no way this workout will bring anyone near the shape of Jackman for the X-men series ! It lacks weight (Jackman bench 300 lbs), speed (to brings fast muscle fiber to grow), agility and did I say weight ? It's not even close to a fair crossfit training ! Nice try !
Hello docteurneo. Thanks for your reply. In terms of weight, lifting heavy kettlebells & performing double kb clean & jerks....check! In terms of speed (and how about some power & explosiveness?).....kettlebell swings, interval rope skipping...check! Strong core...burpees w/tuck jump, dbl kb OH twist...check. A clean diet & this workout a couple of times a week, plus other forms of training (i.e. crossfit, strongman, etc) 2 get ripped...double check! Is there more than 1 way 2 skin a cat? Yep!
Thanks for the advice! But is it REALLY possible to get a body like hugh jackman just doing burpies? Wouldn't you have to throw in some heavy weightlifting to gain the bulk, then do the burpies for the toning?
Thanks for visiting mgrossen. Great question. In the video, I also use kettlebells & a jump rope. Kettlebells will help you carve out some long lean muscle.
Make sure the KBs are heavy enough to challenge you, but not so heavy that you can't maintain good form. You could even use dumb bells, med balls, sandbags, barbells, stones, kegs, etc.
Mix up your training with the tools I just mentioned, with full body bodyweight training, sprints, tire slams, and sound nutrition, and you'll be on your way.
Oh, in the video it sounds like you say you have a choice of either the kettlebell workout OR the burpies. So I need to be mixing it up and doing both the KB workout one day and then the burpies the next day. I got it, thank you.
You can throw the burpee in this workout, if you do not have access to any of the tools I mentioned above. However, don't underestimate the burpee, when done properly,it can get you lean and ripped. however, be sure your diet is in check, and you do other exercises on other days, as well.
You wouldn't want to do the same stale exercise everyday. A low tech way of adding resistance to burpees is wearing a weighted vest or a heavy backpack. That will help add load to your muscles, also.
LovingRaw, thanks for checking it out. BTW, you will have lots of fun with your new kettlebell. I will keep bringing the videos for you all. Let me know if there are any exercises you want me to cover.
Yeah, Joel. I agree. The reaction has been about 50/50. However, i enjoyed it. You can't expect all of those decades of legacy to fit into 1 hour and 47 minutes. It is, what it is.
2 clips? well ive been hearing that after the credits weapon 11 who was the bald bad guy at the end gets his cutt off head, so i searcheed it here on youtube (xmen origin secret ending) and then i saw it but i dont know the other 1?

Thank you that was priceless. I love it that you demonstrate the workout how it is done and keeping the form.
I am going to try it with weights as I do not have cattlebells.

Thanks. My good friend, and superb kettlebell & conditioning coach, Jason Dolby introduced me to the example of "bone stacking."
It definitely makes sense. Thanks for checking out the video. Keep owning it, bro.

great video! i like the terminology "stack those bones up" im gonna have to use that!
