My personal opinion would be that it depends on the feel you like the most and what you're currently with atm, 360, PS3, fighting pad, regular control pad? If you're a 360 owner I would get the sticks. If you're a PS3 owner like myself, it doesn't matter cause the PS3 controllers in my opinion has always felt more comfortable than the 360 controllers, but that just me

I've heard some things about the sticks, but not as bad as the fighting pad, so you should be ok, but idk really know.

this is what I keep telling people the 360 controller is not bad it's just made for FPS shooters which it's amazing for. I couldn't get a SFIV TE (I would not buy the SE since cheaper never means better lol) so I ordered I got a HRAP EX arriving in 2 days because I got tired of jumping trying to pull off my Blanka style super motions under stress (meaning fast lol) I did get to 4200 BP tho with the 360 stick :P

I'm sure you can. Technically, you can swap out anything on any stick. What I want to know is if it's AS EASY to switch out the stick as it is on the Tournament Edition arcade stick. If they made the fight stick easy to mod (i.e. switch out buttons/stick), then that'd be awesome. It'd probably be cheaper to just get the fightstick then switch out the parts for arcade parts.

your in luck they did make it easy to mod the Tournament Edition stick all you have to do is open the cabinet and unplug the button or joystick and switch it out they even made it deep for you to put what ever joystick you want in it
