In order for the convention to conduct its business in a timely manner and compliant with the rules for the outcome to be official, it makes sense for people who ostensibly support the Democratic process to adhere to the rules and to comport themselves in ways that will keep the process moving smoothly for them rather than to throw obstacles on the railroad tracks. It'll get people's attention when the train derails, but then how are you going to get those delegates to the State Convention?

Look at how Carville has treated Richardson on Hillary's behalf; I don't think Jackson Lee fears the Clintons as much as she's entirely too close to them and puts them before those who elected her in the first place.
I did read elsewhere where someone claims that when Hillary drops out, Jackson Lee would be his biggest supporter. We'll see.

(contd) I mean budget as in 'campaign budget'. I've seen some of his proposals and I don't know where the money will come from; but the same can be said for Hillary and McCain. Obama's campaign has action behind him. Hillary absolutely doesn't. McCain has 'garden variety' problems. I liked Obama's answer in Harrisburg about the courthouse. His answer told me that he was going to let locals deal with local issues instead of playing Godfather. That's conservative.

I'm a conservative republican but I do also think for voting for the better choice. John McCain has a very good backround, Obama can't attack that. Obama's backround is very "fishy" and since people are finally questioning it, he's been losing support gradually. Fact- Most Obama supporters have no idea what he stands for. They asked 25 random Obama supporters in my city what he stood for and none of them knew a damn thing. It was very sad. They are voting for him because he's black. That's it.

In order for the convention to conduct its business in a timely manner and compliant with the rules for the outcome to be official, it makes sense for people who ostensibly support the Democratic process to adhere to the rules and to comport themselves in ways that will keep the process moving smoothly for them rather than to throw obstacles on the railroad tracks. It'll get people's attention when the train derails, but then how are you going to get those delegates to the State Convention?
