It's a short-scale (3/4) Jim Deacon P-Bass copy. Much easier on my small girl hands :)

Thanks so much! i've never heard of that brand until now, and I thought I knew all the short scales on the market... How do you like it, is it a quality bass? Does it balance well on a strap?

I love it. I've only ever had this bass and a Crafter full size, so can't comment on quality really. It balances fine, maybe very slightly neck-heavy, but nothing to worry about.

I'd never heard of it either, until I accidentally stumbled upon it in Cambridge!

Thank you! No I haven't retired the kylark, it's in there, I just didn't have time to record video for it. I still use it all the time. It'll be in my next vid, for which I am currently doing the audio. I've put Aquilas on the Skylark now, and it's sounding better than ever :)
