Cupola isn't exactly essential to keeping ISS up and running. Besides, if it were installed within the first few flights, it'd be getting in the way of expanding ISS. Only so many docking ports on station.

But of course, it's NASA who is "clueless"... right.

Why the hell oes this get cut off when it zooms in on teh moon? Are tehre any good HD quality videos from the Cupola where they film the earth at night or during he day for a good period of time with no music. This clip is amazing but there must be more breathtaking videos made by the crew that have to be seen. Can anyone direct me to some good footage? Would be great to see real time footage of an aurora borealis or the city lights across earth at night, they must of filmed this in HD.
