@TisVENOM seed destiny was terrible (the worst in fact but i still love it) except first 10 eps. 00 was alot better. seed was a complete remake of the first series. destiny nearly had no character development. the best series in my opinion was prolly 08th ms team (i still love all the gundam series) that showed complete character development rather than the hero having some overpowered suit destroy a fleet of MS, MA, battleships.

@RagamuffinRG The answer to your question is Yes, each gundam series is independent of the other ones, and that is why you won't see Kira in gundam 00 and you won't see Lock-on in gundam seed series because what happen in gundam seed never take place in gundam 00 and what happen in gundam 00 never take place in gundam seed. You see gundam 00 is not a continuation of the story line of gundam seed.

Good lord. You start off with a very clear cut premise (Like, say, 'Attack a military base showing off a new weapon to make a 'amassing power for war is bad' statement) and it's all going well and it's interesting and I'm into it...

And then in the last two or three minutes you start throwing in 'humanity is being tested' and other vague crap? Shows are supposed to start out mysterious and make MORE sense as you go, not pile on stupid crap at the very end!

However, you should still respect them and acknowledge that they are the root of all Gundam. You would also get a lot more out of 00 if you had watched them, as it's chock full of references.

Let's say I went back to the Navy and I was flying my British Harrier 2 again, would I be shooting enemy planes up while franticly yelling " I AM HARRIER!!! I WILL ERASE YOU FROM THIS WORLD AS HARRIER AND I ARE ONE!!!!".

Back then, Harriers were hovercraft that were just as powerful AND as new as Gundams in the 70's.
