  • i only believe in coffee art without using the end of spoon, needle etc. just the jug, so good effort mate. I can do the basics like you i.e. heart and leaf. not sure what will be next! keep it up

  • how do you make the first mixture where you pour the milk. Mine doesn't look like that

  • how romantic would that be giving that to your girlfriend at a date

  • hvvl

  • why is the screen proportion squeezed on the sides?

  • I am getting the feeling that some of these "coffees" and actually hot chocolates.

  • should try a basic 4 bean roast. and make one of the beans a very dark roast.

Leave it for 12 days, and then do art. ads some more flexibility to it...enables you to really shape your hearts.

My muck around blend consists of Mocha Limu (15 %) Finca La Fanny (15%) Columbian (whichever available) (20%) and a Dark roast Guatemalan (50%).

try it out! the coffee tastes amazing btw.

  • Before I compliment you on what a cool video this is I just want to ask one thing... What the fuck is with this music?!?! Great job really cool video! :D

  • Since I got some pointers from coffeeloverstipsandtricks (.) com I've saved so muuch money

  • Oh and thank you for accepting the video response. :) Have a great day!

  • Beautiful... I've never been to a place that has this level of service... I have not lived!!! Thank you.

  • Just wanna ask, why is the shot so dark? I'm a coffee-maker, and i'm very curious. ;)

  • mad props scottie, hope to be as good as you one day!

  • omg so neaaat

  • Unless you are Micheal Phillips or Raul Rodas, knob off. They are officially the only 2 people in the world in the position to criticize Scottie

  • mad skills....back off haters!

  • it looks so beautiful and tasty . I would prefer to do this for my guests. But I doubt that I can do that so perfect and nicely.

  • COOL did u have a lotta experience

  • why/ how are you so awesome! I pull a shitty rosetta and get so excited when it looks half descent. I'm just teaching myself tulips now. I'll be happy to pull shots for you, maybe even stretch the milk, then I'll hand it over for you to do the rest

  • Thats a great tamping style

  • why would anyone ever challange scottie callaghan? the guy is one of the best baristas in the world

  • @budigley I can't stand this kind of attitude from coffee makers (clearly not a barista) who make comments like this. By making a comment like this you are demonstrating a complete lack of skill and knowledge of espresso coffee and the application of espresso coffee in espresso bars and cafes and the world of cafes and restaurants. Learn a bit more before you make uneducated comments because you sound like someone who doesn't know what they are talking about.

  • sorry, but is the music saying "Stop aids, Fight aids!" O_O

  • Hah thumbs up! great work , it'd make my day in the morning if i saw a nice art piece in my coffee :D

  • Dude your awesome! Good HANDS (Y)

  • wow it was so nice but we have to drink it

  • I favourited this video 3 years ago... little did I notice it's by Scottie Callaghan who I've seen down at Belaroma in Manly Vale a few times recently. Hahah.

  • Think he was just doing that for the sake of making the heart shape. Notice the one before the gravy boat was a ceramic bowl with no handle. And if there is anything i want to be holding while drinking my boiling hot coffee out of it is a ceramic bowl! Can we say 2nd degree burns? >.>

  • they arent gravy boats. its called a hug mug :)

  • this is great :)

  • Awsome this is really GREAT!!

  • Just out of curiosity, what song did you use for this video?

  • I Like it!

    Thank's for sharing...

  • very nice.

    Nahid.

  • awesome stuff! great job, thanks for sharing.

  • 2:12 This one is amazing!!

  • I've... never heard of latte art before... O_O

  • @kamile257 not in turkey.very hard to find

  • @ 2:10 That one is Awesome..

    Very good!

  • never occurred to me that anyone would want to drink coffee out of a gravy boat

whats wrong with a nice cup with a handle?

or are these now out of fashion?

  • I did not see anyone drinking anything in this video? Nor did I see any notion of seriousnes, in fact what I see is milk being poured into a cup with coffee in it. i.e just a bit of fun?

Whats wrong with a bit of fun?

or are these now out of fashion?

All boring people please say 'I'!

  • I'm not being overly serious in my criticism, but i did assume that people would be drinking from them

and it did seem amusing the idea of people drinking from such cups (to me anyway), i'd personally return it and ask for a proper one

Indeed theres nothing wrong with a bit of fun

i've got no problem with people drinking from gravy boats if it keeps them happy

doesn't mean i wont take the piss though

  • @eggman6 It never occured to me how many people have sticks shoved up their own backsides. Seriously dude, lighten up. It's coffee.

  • @eggman6 what's wrong with you not being a douche bag? Is that out of fasion?

  • is this fattening?

  • its milk (usually 2% or skim) and coffee, and some have chocolate powder

  • Pretty good, but I'm wondering.. why isn't there any crema on the espresso? Do you break it up for some reason before pouring the milk?

  • Can you do anything other than hearts?

  • amazing!!!!!!!

  • beautiful

  • Inspirational and looks absolutely awesome!

  • amazing art! your hearts are amazing! i seem to have lost my touch with my hearts by moving onto doing tulips! hopefully i'll get the nack back!

  • love it. but also we know what came after the highest state of art in berlin .... enjoy it while you can!

  • Awsome Art, awkward song choice.

  • That's a lifetime skill right there.

  • HA I love this music!!!

  • yupp i would eat that any day

  • they dont actually taste nice or so ive heard

at some coffee shop they were doing this and the customers were giving them back and asking 4 new 1s

it may look pretty but its not what it seems

  • Oh yes, they taste great. There is nothing in the technique that would ruin the taste. If someone has taken the time to learn how to do this, they usually also know how to make a decent coffee.

  • ghee you sound intelligent...

with a palate like a cows arse.

  • WTF?

    Pretentious much?

  • It is silly to think a latte with free pour art would taste any different than one without. The only difference is that it may taste better because your foam has to be perfect to pour the art, while some baristas may not be able to produce the microfoam necessary and therefore serve an inferior latte. Nice work Scottie, you are one of the best!

  • @coffee4212crd5

you are wright but coffee with latte art will taste better. because protoin is efeccetive to silk milk,,,think that way..art means good milk//

  • you mean drink that

  • you're the god.. bravo!

  • could some one tell me where I could get those latte bowls?

  • That's so nice! I am going to try it.

  • can you drink it so much milk

  • Sry 4 a maybe stupid question but..

How on earth do you do that!???

  • chinese is an incredible nation

  • china*, and the regime isn't

  • I can tell you aren't sexually active.

  • do you hve sex with aliens?!

  • everyday, why? do you want fuck some aliens too? or you don't know the anatomy of humans too? :)

  • 2:11 i loooove it *o*

  • im gonna make me some coffee now :P

  • i make coffee for the girls at work and am going to have to practice to get art like this!!! awesome work, keep it up!

  • this should be Femi Kuti

  • what is the name of the song?

  • 2:12 - 2:15 is good

    2:42 - 2:43 is similar

  • wicked

  • i dropped you an email so here is the video i wanted you to look at if you could get back to me that'd b great, cheers

  • all you can do is hearts and leafs! learn more! YOU SUCK!

  • rofl. i don't think they get the joke

  • they all look the same

  • I love latte, I love art...

  • awesome would love that served to me at a cafee

  • the color of the espresso are so nice

  • I streached the milk let it spin and texture the milk in the jug but somehow the milk he has seems more liquid than mine any1 noes why?

  • he turns it to cream

    THICK cream

  • Don't foam AS much as you would with a cappuccino. Instead, try to start foaming in the first few seconds and then let it just spin around so the foam and milk will mix to a thick cream.

If you want to get rid of some foam (in case you feel you have too much), try swirling with the jug and beating the jugg on the table.

  • Im trying to understand the contrast on the top, now, before start pouring milk, do you cap the crema with cinnimon? I've never had more than 1/3in crema.

  • Put the choc powder on the crema before you pour in the milk to give it a nice rich colour.

Try tampering more for a thicker crema, if there isn't much, it could be not enough coffee used or maybe a busted seal in the machine?

  • Break the Crema with a teaspoon or by simply swirling your cup, then give it a layer of Bitter Chocolate Powder.

  • I love caffe latte, and i'd like to be latte magician^^,

  • Amazing. I am a barista I wish I could do that!

  • hay peroque creatividad tienen, si es muy lindo lo que hacen con el cafe

  • mad man thats aswome!

  • wow, so talented

  • what is the name of this song? is it Clapton?

  • Very good Scott, ive learned alot from this video.

  • idk if its just me but know a latte sound really good! ;]

  • that fluted cup is so cool and of cos the art too! lol

  • wow, like this very much! beautiful! thank you, i´m learning much by watching this video! greetings from bonn/germany

  • i love it:)

they do this "coffee art" always in turkey

  • YEAH! Nice work...never knew you could do things like that with coffee, might just have to have a shot at it myself now :D

  • How can you guys even insult such amazing work with one of the hardest objects to do art with?!

  • Wow. I'm an aspiring barista myself.

I must say, i love your style.

It's a very chocolatey kind of effect.

    Brilliant!

  • 2:15

  • This is Intresting & cool. 5 STARS

  • wow! brilliant!

i wish that i could do that

  • Hi Rodentia, I do apologize for putting my work on here, it is hard being such a loser, and as requested I will try and get over myself. I do hope you have had a great day and I wish you all the best for tomorrow, I am sure you are brilliant and well respected at whatever you do.

  • @ScottieCallaghan haha, dude your responses are hilarious. love your work, what your friend here prob doesn't realize is that while some can pull the odd rosetta etc off it really comes down to consistency. anyway you prob dont even read this anymore just thought your stuff was too funny

  • Why don't you show us some of your brilliant work? Got none? Then don't talk like this. You searched for this kind of videos and you've watched this video for a reason, if it doesn't tickle your fancy, leave it and don't criticize someone for their work.

  • Oh burn! I didn't criticize his work. Obviously he is an excellent latte artist. There are dozens of them in every city in every country is my point. And yes I searched these videos for a reason, to watch them. And Scottie, I wish you would have gotten more angry. Oh well, I can't displease everyone.

  • you obviosly dont have any heart or love for coffee rodentia us baristas are a big loving community that love to make coffee not to have silly arguments over the internet on whos rossetta is better or whos milk is the right texture just enjoy what there is and move on. and scottie love what you do

  • yeah scottie go! never seen this stuff done before! amazing! mind blowing. load blowing. i wish i were part of your fun loving aussie coffee community!

  • ashman if you are so full of love why do have videos of people getting their ass kicked? you just like to use the internet to watch people get whipped?

  • Art and criticism sort of got together, don't they?

  • brilliant! you didn't just stop at one picture per cup - aww, the hearts! ^_^

  • Awesome.

I'm going to run get me a latte right now!

  • Good job man keep it up

  • can u only make leafs and hearts?

  • I havent seen you doing it

  • WOW~ skills~

  • that's nice..i wanna do that

  • i can do this with soda n milk.

  • wow ,, i wanna coffee :P

  • believe it or not this guy was payed to come to where i used 2 work to teach us all how to make good quality coffee hes an alright bloke short and of course knows a lot about the latte art so being able to see his stuff being really done is quite different in real life but of course pretty well done none the less

  • hehe....cool:)))

  • Oooooh, 2 designs. This person has talent.

  • Same same same, monkeys can be trained to do this. All this latte 'art' looks like naf folk crap.

  • well the monkey teory can work in every situation =D but i think this art of coffe is kinda useless... its like wow nice coffe... glu glu glu glu.. gone ^^

  • Its pretty....but does it taste good? yeah...think about that.

  • that is amazing what people can invent. i didnt even think that something like this is possible. that makes it really cool and what can i say is great job.

  • my favorite is at 2:58

  • i know it makes me want a latte too and i dont even like them that much!!!

  • yum i love lattes

  • ̄▽ ̄" basics ̄▽ ̄"

  • I wasnt very impressed, you were doing the same thing over and over and over...

    And it didnt look difficult.

  • if you like how it looks then id consider it art...dont be so closed minded if you can do something someone cant most likely it can be considered art

  • euw...dude, i get fat just looking at it

  • you can't call this art.. but i like it, i don't like coffee but i like how this looked

  • Why the hell cant you call this art? Anything that brings visual enjoyment for someone in a estetical manner is art imho.

  • The "imho" was definitely necessary. I, for one, was very confused about whether or not the opinion that you were expressing was actually yours or someone else's, and you sincerity was certainly suspect as well. Tool.

  • I want coffee and I don't even like it!

  • dude, this really makes me want a latte!!

  • I`d like my cup without latte art,

I mean it`s really amazing but.....

  • But what?

  • AMAZING

  • didnt knew there was a latte art championship ...but i am impressed! very impressed! this is sweet!!:)

  • doesn't this make you want to have a cup of coffee

  • yesssssssssssssss!!!!!!!!

  • I'd hate to drink it because it would ruin the ART!

  • MAD skills!

  • at only 500 calories a cup too!

  • I think they're using heavy cream right? Jesus that might be more like 1500 calories pr cup.

  • the question is...

    IS IT GOOD??!

  • i go to a cafe that does this very well. One of the employees could make a Mona Lisas and very roses. anyways, nice job dude, but try expirimenting with some different designs

  • i love coffee! :3

  • is there anyone from ohio who knows where a good coffee place is that does this???

    i <3 coffee...

  • damn it is sooooo great!!

    wow

  • Shoulda gone for a heart alongside that last one! ;)

    Beautiful stuff, hot shot.

  • I'm so gonna try this tomorrow morning ;)

    Ima fail, but hey ...

  • ok, WOW!

    That was fantastic =D

  • very nice, I had never seen this done before!

  • Very Nice!!! I'm going to try this - as soon as I can figure out how to foam my milk properly. Thanks for sharing.

  • spinning the milk while frothing it allows it to de-aerate....

  • I would love to find a place where I could drink a beautiful coffee like this...love it

  • obviously you need to get get out more often and/or find yourself a girlfriend. how sad are you?

  • A very very sad case indeed! I forgot what out looks like actually, oh well!

  • yeah.nice schiuma patterns!! stop aids!! fight aids!! thats the message...:) hello!!!!
