Hugh Grant's English, born, raised & educated ù& the "accent" he's playing, is neutral. But, on some words, the enunciation is apparently British. For example, at 8:41 he says "I haven't slept in days". The way he says days ("dies") is total British. Good acting!! Must be part of storyline (US author). Accents!! My Grandaughter (4) asked for a glass of "wata". 'Sure, here's your "water"' I said. 'GRANDMA!' she retorted,.'It's "wa-TA" not "wa-TER"!' . (She's Australian raised, I'm Canadian)

@TheJudy19 He doesnt have an accent lol He speaks neutral English/standard English. Every other city in England and the rest of the English speaking world are the ones with accents lol You're American, so you definetly have an accent! You guys sound like pirates! :D
