Just saw Scott Caan talking about this on Jimmy Fallon. It's too bad this album got shelved. If it was coming out maybe 5 years ago or present with Internet and social media, these kids would have been huge! Both very talented. So happy to know that both have gone on to HUGE success.
The Alchemist. and Scott Caan.....lol Mudfoot and Mad Skillz. These young dudes did their thing. Didn't take off as Whooliganz but still became successful in the entertainment industry.
@flicks2watch3 I remember Seeing Alchemist after school at Palisades High a week before this came out on the Box,and he was telling me how he mc'd and he just signed with Cypress.I was like yo,get the fuxx outta here.A week later i saw this and was like Whaat.Mad respect for Dat thunn.. I still see ALC weekly in my hood out in West LA.
This is Zodiak Killa chec out Unstoppable and Wu Tang 2009 to chec my shit..Im ridiculously ill lyrically.
The rappers formally known as mudfoot & mad skills LOL - If this came out in 93 that would make these guys like 17 - 18 years old - they look about 13
I think you're right. Love his beats back in the day. He used alot of real instrument samples, like guitar and upright bass. His work on House of Pain's 2nd album was pretty tight too.
This is pretty tight. I remember listening to this back in the day and thinking that. I can't say much other than great beat, great flow. I wonder if these guys could have hit it big if they weren't "white boys"
is that the lead singer of crazy town @ 140.. i know a bunch of these guys went to high school together such as evidence, alchemist, shifty from crazy town, mikey from incubus, nichole richie and a few others that i heard on an Evidence freestyle (over let the beat build) but i cant remember..
Alchemist actually had/has talent.Yeah, both from beverly hills...doesnt matter where youre from,as long as youre true. But James Caan's son privledged as fuck with a bandana on like a gangster-wtf!He was a lame rapper to put it mildly.
the beat is sick, and the video is cool, but it's kinda painful to see two young whiteboys from beverly hills acting gangsta and trying to sound like b-real and tying their bandanas like 2pac
top tune from back in the day... anyone who says this is crap or that white people suck and this is crap coz they are white people are blatantly just racist cunts and belong in the shit hole with the KKK and the black panthers.
Don't hate you fucking losers... like to see you do better.
I also like the fact the words "motherfucker"and "nigger" wasn't used once! Makes a fucking change!

Thank God Scott Caan quit rapping and followed his father into acting. The production on this is so terrible. They actually have a baby crying looped in the chorus. The Alc's rap skills aren't as weak as Caan's.

im suprised to find it wasn't muggs, sounds like his work. But props to lethal he is also a great producer.

yeah, it's lethal. But it really sounds like Muggs. It's the early soul assassins sound.

dj muggs has fallen off now though his new stuff sucks. It's not dark, grimy, and gritty anymore. Jazz influences are gone. Its just generic.
