  • "Every single problem we have in this planet can be solved if we focus the passionate minds on those issues" This is a really optimistic statement which makes me feel hopeful. but how do we focus the passionate minds? Perhaps this itself is another problem we face in solving the problems in this planet. And in solving one problem, another problem may be created because many solutions are not perfect and have its drawbacks.

  • I need more innovative sex. Well, any sex come to that...

  • We need to be more personal and develop tighter relationships.

  • @soloeinhander We need to be more interpersonal and develope more co-operative relationships :)

  • We have the means to achieve eternal energy with our minds.

  • I have been thinking the same thing. We need to use our ability to communicate to educate eachother.

  • at 0:47 I think when the other guy says "and they're hungry" he literally meant the additional 3 billion people are hungry.

  • @98nafets Just goes to show we need more innovation and freedom to communication, to empower people to work their way out of poverty instead of relying on the failed solution the leaders of the world have provided. Maybe this idea will spread to other parts of the world not just India and China but maybe Africa. Maybe I can help.

  • @98nafets Maybe we should get all these new intelligent people together and solve the overpopulation problem...

  • Looking at something with fresh eyes, is also at work there, and can be very useful.

  • mindlessly watching dancing and singing talent contests is the only way to fully harness cognitive surplus

  • To utilize cognitive surplus you must have the means to do it (socialism) and the motivation to do it (capitalism).

  • @slytherinspy1960

    Please explain.

  • @pulsatingremedy socialism to me means government providing opportunity to someone without any and capitalism is the government staying out so there is more competition, kind of like survival of the fittest. socialism gives you the means and capitalism gives you the motivation. without any means then it doesn't matter how much you WANT to succeed you won't be ABLE to and without any motivation it doesn't matter how ABLE you are if there is no reason to do so then you won't WANT to.

  • You sir are wrong. Cognitive surplus is the only way to truly use cognitive surplus.

  • Socialism is the only way to truly utilize cognitive surplus

  • The free market is the only way to truly use cognitive surplus.
