It seems you are still under the impression that "Jesus" and his disciples are real people. These are mythological figures. There is no way to pin down what details of the life of the mythological Jesus are based on any fact. So, it is meaningless to discuss or conjecture about things like that. The Essenes were in fact the early Christians. Christianity developed as a way to take the sect to the mainstream world under the presssure of the Jewish diaspora. Jesus is based on the teacher of righteousness, and not a different person, but an evolved mythological version of the teacher. The new testment is a narrative allegory containing much of the tenants and philosophies of the sect, including the shamanistic practices involving sacred mushrooms.

@Harinath1008 I would also say that the Essenes and the earliest Christians were one and the same. However is it more likely that James The Righteous, the brother of Jesus, was the Essenes Teacher of Righteousness? James seems to have been stoned to death shortly before the Roman invasion under Vespasian and it would seem that the Essenes hid their scrolls at that time, shortly before the destruction of Jerusalem by Titus.

@virgilsportal In the first century there were only 1 sect John opposed and that was the Pharisees. The Sadducee and Essene were one in the same. One can even view them as in similar terms to a "Karaite or Mystic Karaite".

@beholdtheageofold I don't believe that is correct. While I'm always willing to be mistaken, I don't believe that the Sadducees and Essenes were the same. To the contrary, the Essenes were not part of the ruling class while the Sadducees and Pharisees were.

2 branches of the same thing. The Messiah was to bring the Essene teachings to the public, and adapt them for a more public and open revelation. When they go public, many things will have to be modified.
