  • This guy's skillz are so insane, I'd pay him to come over to germany to play on my party!!!! He has this unique style that i fucking love, but have never heard before from someone else!!!

Hope that this DNB Scene never becomes MAINSTREAM !!!!

  • I agree that this is a good mix as well but i dont think this should be labled liquid as the first chunk of it isnt reallly liquid iho but hey I am just trying to explain the thumbs down also it might be the sound smoothness/ connection / hook up

  • nice set up homey... don't let the haters get to you. Iv'e had the ones and twos and moved digital with vestax vci 100 and traktor 4.

  • tune at 3.30 i know but forgot it...

  • musics music doesnt matter if its played with a toaster as long as it sounds gd

  • you can use vinyl, CD, MP3 or whatever else there is out there, as long as you are playing good tunes.......does it really matter?

  • i have always said... that the song selection is the most important, not what it´s played on

  • i love your mix and your gadgets man.. its vestax vci rite? gorgeous indeed!

  • whats the tune you flick to at 8.26? its siiick.

also why dont you need to adjust the pitch when you bring a tune in?

  • cddj has like auto sync i believe, get vinyl feel the music

  • dont let the thumbs down get you down man. Vinyl is the only respectable way to go...

  • the thumbs down dont get to me. as some may still continue to think vinyl is the 'respectable' way to go, by all means they're entitled to their own opinion. Times are changing, push the boundries and keep up with the times... pretty soon they're gonna say ... "digital is the the only 'respectable' way to go..."

  • i disagree with that one mate, im 39 and been djing for 18 years and ive used cdj's and lil consoles and turntables are still my thing, vinyl sounds so much for vintage and so much better genarally, buy like u said every1s entitlwed to there own opinion

  • My CDJ 1000's do not have autosync. You might know this if you could afford them. They do have master tempo control which allows me to adjust the pitch more. Vinyl will always be where it started. Matching beats is important and where the skill is at, I agree with what you are getting at. Look at it this way, when dudes first started spinning it was on belt driven tables. Then they made torque driven platters and people argued that "matching without using the pitch control is cheating".

  • intro it defeat

  • awesome Mix =] but thats some weird mixing, unike!

    cool bro

  • Dude, I must've watched this over a 100 times now. Whats the name of the track around 6:30?

  • agent black "FEEL GOOD" ... thanx for watching! :)

  • wats the track id around 3:20

  • "hot lick squeeze" - mutt

  • look on display.

as i see you use original-based .tks for your vci100... but i can't understend what you do, can't to hear... (all i see "live" is only flanger ;) )

  • ah, i think i understand what you mean now... yes, the version of traktor I'm using in the video is TRAKTOR (LE). I had recorded this video when I first got the vestax vci100. At the time, I wasnt sure how to use the effects, so what I did was i would press the button at the top right hand corner to enable the flanger and then turn the knob to change the effect. This was before I started using the buttons above the CUE buttons.

  • nice mix. but this is not live. your display picture is static.

  • not quite sure what you mean by my display picture being "static"?

  • big props my mann wicked vibes...so stoned im loving da tunes...need a track playlist my mann

  • Track List Pls.

  • Question, you wouldnt happen to have this session recorded in some sort of audio format to share would you?

  • omg wot was the name of the last tune u were playing before it ended?? it was jsut coming in and then the time was up!1 i love it!!! let me know!! x

  • good $hit. love the mixes. gotta post the track list bro.

  • oh and great mix!

    lol

  • and by the way does the vestax vci 100 work with traktor?

also, does the vci300? I'm going to get on if so

    Ez

  • Hey man i've just started using traktor but when I upload and play dnb it says its only at 88bpm average. How do I get it to read 170 etc

  • Just tap along to the music with the tap button. It should then automaticly switch to twice the number. If you press more than 8 times it will take the average of your taps so be carefull with that.

  • cool thanks

  • i do a hole lot better than you on my bitchy behringer bcd2000 lol

  • mate u hav gone to far into the future i dnt even know if u or dem machines u got there r mixin!! one step to far id say!!!! remember where it all came from VINYL!!!!!

  • yay man! digi digi digital is the way to go!

  • Hey coopa, time to get you rearend out of the year 19flintstone and into the 21st century.

People progress, as do media played upon.

  • nice mix man, track list please

  • I'm diggin it.

  • Great mix dude, got the shit on repeat. Keep it up! -Bofu

  • nice mix man! howz that vestax thing for mixing with?

  • pretty solid mixer...there is an issue however with lag when you let go of the platter, it sorta feels like it starts off slow then picks up speed. that's never been an issue when i mix....other than that, i like it!

  • That issue has been fixed in later editions of the mixer, grab yourself a firmware cable ;)
