@TheDadrummerboy its not taken off an other cymbal, it is made from sheet metal by hammering. watch my other vid of cymbals if youd like to know more.

how did you shape the cymbals? also do you know if would it work with bronze? i know some cymbals are made from bronze as well as brass.

i only made the small one. hamered from a brass sheet. simple. the big one is done by zildjian...:)

where can you get a brass sheet... do you think you can buy one at like lowes or home depot?

No idea where you can get in the US. google it up :) . But if you get one, before hammering warm it up on fire until it gets colored, then drop it instantly into cold water. This makes the copper softer and it wont break when you hammer it.
