@WAPTek2 We now recommend Fox Valley Day One Formula (32/40) instead of Esbilac. Pet Ag changed their formula a couple of years ago, and now many baby squirrels get sick from it. Fox Valley is not only better, it is cheaper too!

One of Nature's great achievements: motherhood. In virtually all highly developed species where mothering is needed in order for babies to grow up, we see this incredible behavior where mothers, many times, are willing to risk their lives for their babies.
is that the other squirrel laying lifeless in the grass? what happened to it..? us mommy's will do anything to save our children.. loved this video..

We had a mother squirrel give birh on are porch and left him to die so we took him in he is 1 half weeks old we have beem feeding him fresh goat milk

the steps to take in the first 48 hours are
Get The Baby Warm, TAKE IT INSIDE !,
give it Pedialyte to rehydrate for LESS THAN 24 HOURS ONLY
then feed it puppy formula (Esbilac ) ,, via syringe or dropper ,,
do not feed it cow milk at all & call a wildlife rehabilitator
if you cannot find a rehabilitator look up the rest online BUT
prepare for 10 weeks of being a undereducated squirrel mom
