I think this solo is far, far inferior to the original. Dave Gilmour's solos are great because he emphasizes hitting the perfect note, as opposed to a lot of them. Quality over quantity. The bend to the high E DG hits makes you feel something. This tries to do too much. Money is one of the great solos in rock history, not because it is technically difficult - it's not - it's about mood and lyricism.

There music isnt rock n roll its far from Rock at all, it has none of the musical theory that defines rock, there more of a neo jazzy style band fusion-jazz almost.

Yeah, i was there 2. Pink Floyd and DMB are my favorite bands so that was awesome. The only complaint i had was that they didn't play Dancing Nancies.

I agree.. but if you listen to some of the recordings of Warehouse earlier in the tour, you'll see why they stopped playing it. There was just something missing in it this year. Very dry sounding.

very true, and i'm sure many would disagree, but i believe the "something" that was missing was butch. warehouse is definitely on the top of my list, but it was one of the few songs that tim's fills didnt quite make up for butch's part.
