  • "i" am not, "it" is the moment, "I" is

  • Kewl

  • This is great!!

It clarified my confusion about Vedanta. Regards, -mukti

  • and 'The happy coder' has got is so wrong!! kiddo... 'I' is eternal, so it didnt come from the Light or the Universe.. and it is the Creator and everything else.

and therefore its popular manifestation is that we see everything as god, a rock , a pebble etc etc

  • poor paromita has not had much of exposure to high thoughts... he's just one of the many brilliant we have in country dear. and lets not forget he is only the product of the great philosophical tradition... read more on vedant.. my advice

  • this man is talking lot of sense, one of the rare gurus I have seen talking some sense....thank you !

  • Yeah but his method is too repetitive to me. No need 30 minutes for that :)

"I" is an equal part of the Creator (Ramha) of this Universe whose Light came from his universe to ours. And "I" was born out of this Light. "I" is out of space, time and eternal. Space and time are parts of the stage in the big sandbox that we call life. But the real life is beyond this sandbox. Sandbox is for children that may become gods someday...

  • Ossammie, although you removed your comment, as you included a question mark at the end of the comment I will respond. Krsna says in Srimad Bhagavat Gita that fools deride Him when He descends in a human form. In another verse He explains that He can remember all our births whereas we cannot. This is the eternal difference between us and God. Honest persons will understand the "all one formless" philosophy is only half correct and is preached by those who wish to be God. Be happy, Hari Bol!

  • Why such inquiry. it is so easy to know I. I am my mind. me with relation to things around. what is invariable is that which enables the I objectification. awareness is the content of I. awareness does not replace the I. awareness digests the I.

  • It would seem then that Advaita Vedanta isn't for you then. It's not interested in siddhis (miraculous/magical power), or even cultivating certain experiences ("spiritual experience" - apparitions, etc.) It involves that which precedes all of those things.

  • Namaste.

I just had the pleasure of hearing Swamiji speak in Washington DC last weekend. Simply amazing!

  • more videos of dayanada .... for ignorant poeple to share

  • Thanks very much for posting these videos - Swami Dayananda makes so much sense, while at the same time raising questions which stay with you for a long long time. Great stuff, thankyou. :D

  • Thanks for the video. I have been studying awareness for 3 years now. From advaita to zen to youtube etc etc. So thanks!

  • I remembered Swamiji's lectures on "Freedom from Sadness" at Chennai. Thanks for posting.

  • Space, time and causation. These three exist. The question is whether they can exist without you. You is not the body or mind here. You, the awareness, I the awareness that is beyond body and mind are the same. Space, Time and Causation cannot exist without awareness. So You the awareness is supreme.

  • Thanks for posting this video. Please disable comments. Some people tend to be indecent. Anyone can see this ... ok should they be allowed to comment on someone whom they do not know ...

  • This man doesn't need protection--unless it be from wannabe censors.

  • Jorge thanks very much for posting these videos - thanks again - swami Dayananda is the kind of teacher i seek.
