Hi, i was just wondering if putting a bell collar on a ferret is a good idea, i have 2 ferrets and they both have collars and i am not sure if its a good idea, they both run around the house and i have a hard time trying to find them, and the collar seems to be helping. by the way cute video.
we taught our oldest one not to bite by gently patting her on the nose while holding her up by the scruff of the neck and saying no, she only nipped for about a week before she stopped for good, Got another baby one a few days ago and we're teaching him the same way
Whenever one bites, scruff him/her, firmly so 'No', and put them in their cage for a little bit, don't put them back ono the floor 'cuz they'll just play some more. Don't hit or shake them. You can also spray Bitter Apple on your hand so it'll taste bad when they bite. If it's really a problem, go see a vet 'cuz he might be sick.
Hah. That ferret looks like one of mine. My Goober tends to be the only one though who will lay down at random on the floor and just watch. Love to see more vids from you!
