"The Story Ends the Usual Way" is one way I might say it. A perfect way to say Kyon's back in the normal world, but just as the music is more nuanced and beautiful than the original theme, Kyon's idea of his original world is also much more promising.

I just listened to the entire soundtrack in one sitting, no stops.

It's a moving experience, just like the film. Except the film's movingness was amplified by a factor of 10. This is such a wonderful film, with a gorgeous soundtrack. I'm definitely buying this movie when it releases on DVD. No doubt about that.

I'm so glad Disappearance had such a large budget, else we might not have had such an outstanding soundtrack. This track itself takes a familiar song that's been the 'main theme' and adds beautiful chords and harmonies which make it my favorite song Kousaki has ever composed. 0:42 still gives me chills when I hear it.
