@cameron2cool depinding on the volt and the use that motor is running on 3s lipo and still going strong btw sorry to hear that try castle creations esc but there esc are not waterproof you will have to waterproof that yourself hope we earned your subscription thanks
no this is the old version, but you can wrap the esc and the receiver and the battery with balloons and cut holes for the wires the put silicone between the holes, and your good to go.
@khalid67596 well its not the water proof part im looking for. i just wana see what the new firestorm flux can do VS your older model. right now i can still get this older version and i wana know witch one will work best for me before all the old stock of these are gone. HPI has taken these older ones off there site and replaced it with the new water proof one but it has smaller motor and cant take the battery power. but im plaining on staying nimh batterys a little longer anyhow.
yo man the new firestorm has the same motor esc and almost everything is the same, but its waterproof so i would say go for the new one and 7.2 lipo is good but 11.1 volt is more risky but not for me lol mine is still working fine nothing went wrong i orderd sand paddles and a couple of hop ups wish me luck.
@khalid67596 the new one has a Flux Vektor 4800Kv motor ESC is a Flux Vapor speed control with 2.4ghz system VS the old one had a Flux Warp 5700Kv motor and HPI Flux Motiv ESC with a TF-1 AM 27MHz. all the electronics have changed. and the old one could take 6s lipo and the new can only handle 3s.

and as soon as i buy a new camera i will post a video, drifting woohooo lots of wheel spin RWD it a sprint 2 drift new chassi front motor and front battery caster mod and alot more, most of rc cars are AWD i want my car to be like a real car so i was testing setups ALOT
so i was testing testing testing then i found the best setup, when i post the video you will see how it performs i hope you like it, and i will give you the whole setup if you want but is kind hard to do but try it it very defrent from AWD drifters but its a whole new setup that is fun to drift and you will show your real skillzz not AWD no countersteer and hope you buy one of the hpi firestorms ;) i will post the video ASAP hope i helped.
well i was trying out the mini e revo to make a video but then i hared that clicking noise so i knew it was the diff so i opend it, so i can fix it and yes it was the diff so i have to order one with a couple of hop ups so i will try to make a video with my hpi sprint 2 drift project well its not completely a hpi sprint 2 drift i made HUUGGEE!!! mods soo... its almost not a sprint 2 drift next week i will post the video
yes i did adjust it but not very loose in between, and the 3s lipo i used the venom lipo and i bended the part`s that hold the battery and tha battery was wobbly so i added sponges to both side lift right and even in the front the, rear it dosent matter cuz there is already the shock tower and it is holding the battery from the back and if you want a pic of what parts i bended tell me, hope i helped.
How often does the motor burn out? My buddy has a Traxxas rustler and hes gone through like 3 engines in 2 months..

did you adjust the slipper clutch very loose to keep the front down? how did you stick the 3s in, strapped?
