I saw this scene on the "Proud and Prejudice" documentary recently. I don't normally get involved in the race row, i'm not a religious person. I used to live in Luton and in the 80's Bury Park had a good mix of English, Irish and Asian. Sadly in Bury Park now the only shops left are Halal fast food shops, Sari shops and grocery shops full of women in Burkas which just makes me feel uncomfortable because how can i interact with somebody when i have no idea who it is. Hardly a small minority. And even if it was only one percent, what is 1% of 1.5 billion? Even that is a huge number. As the muslim population grows so does the number of fanatics so it is an everlasting and ever expanding threat that the British government has saddled it's population with.

I saw this scene on the "Proud and Prejudice" documentary recently. I don't normally get involved in the race row, i'm not a religious person. I agree'd with a lot of what Tommy said about extremists being the problem- I completely agree that extremism is the problem, extremism in all religions/ beliefs. Only thing that ruined it for me was when Tommy was drunk and said to a muslim worker that all muslims were the problem and mumbling 'Breivik' after defending the EDL well in that BBC interview.

I used to live in Luton and in the 80's Bury Park had a good mix of English, Irish and Asian. Sadly in Bury Park now the only shops left are Halal fast food shops, Sari shops and grocery shops full of women in Burkas which just makes me feel uncomfortable because how can i interact with somebody when i have no idea who it is. Walk through Luton town centre and all you will hear our Eastern European voices and African accents from the students. It's all alien to me now.
