I honestly never thought I would live long enough to see the USA reduced to this. My father(RIP) warned me about ten years ago that this was coming and I blew him off because I could not see it . The question is...........if conditions continue to deteriorate will ordinary Americans take it lying down?
Most of the states will roll over because they are broke and want a share of the pork in the stimulus package. The states let their sovereignty go years ago. Google " sourcewatch establishing martial law " and look at executive orders going back to Kennedy. They can take our property, relocate us, and put us into forced labor. I think these bills are phony, and simply a preparation leading up to a call for a federal con-con so the whole constitution will be thrown out.
These crooked and corrupt politicians who don't pay taxes protect these criminal Wall Street bankers when they should all be arrested but instead they force us to bankrupt our childrens future by borrowing about a Trillion Dollars to bail THEM out while families lose their homes and jobs and then Obama tries to pass this stimulus bill that wastes even more money on Pelosi's social programs but won't create many new jobs! Well, Fuck Democrates and Republicans! Fuck Obama!<
It's quite different in the European Union. More and more power is leaking to the centre with no real mechanism for getting it back. Soon the individual nation states will be regions, each with limited power.
I don't thing the EU can survive the stresses that will be placed on the Euro in the coming months with the varying needs of monetary management of such a hotchpotch of nations. Once the warmer weather comes, people will take to the streets. (I hope)
At least in the US there appear to be means available to control executive powers. England is governed by a Prime Minister whose leadership has not been approved through a General Election but who usurped power via a small corrupt caucus of members of his own party, most of whom were only elected by a small caucus of their own party!!! (And in any case represents a constituency in a foreign country (Scotland)).
americans are starting to get angry, im glad my state is on board with this, i think 8 states total are doing it. ooooooo......lets have a civil war, we havnt had one of those in awhile. we have enough guns, this time... east vs west GO. j/k in all seriousness this could be very good or bad depending on the way the fed acts, and how serious the states are about it.
Keep things in perspective people, these are just resolutions - formal opinions presented to Congress, president, etc. Keep the faith and show your support, but don't hold your breath. Our governor in NH (Lynch) has been known to be a spineless push-over. Though these resolutions sound promising, they were drafted by state house reps, not Congress - and therefore have a long ways to go.
agreed...once a constitutional convention is called EVERYTHING is on the table...I dont think they will just be"adding an amendment" ..A convention could lead to a civil war or worse...a revolution...
I don't believe the NH bill, is talking about secession, but the NH bill is making it very clear that the Fed Govt is and has overstepped it's boundaries.
I believe what this is attempting to do is not only remind the Fed Govt that the powers they possess are only those explicitly granted and that all others are left to the states or its people. Further, that it will not tolerate usurpation and it further calls null and void any power or law that is not expressly granted in the Constitution.
Thanks for the explanation. It appears that Congress is absolutely out of control and needs to be taught a lesson as is the executive branch using Rahm Emanuel , the modern day version of Josef Goebbels.
Your comment is on point. In my opinion both the legislative and executive branches have gone off the deep end.
I see this as notice to the Fed that NH recognizes its right as well as other states right to dissolve the representative general govt. in the event that it sees its sovereignty threatened in any way.
This would appear to be the beginning of a move by states to express their discontent with especially the legislative and executive branches over the usurping of power that through the Constitution actually belongs to the states.
It will be very interesting to see how this plays out, I'm sure there will be more to follow. I've already emailed my rep at the state encouraging them to take up the cause.
A lot of the comments are spot on. But this is bigger than most have thought out. Arizona secedes, okay. How does that impact the surrounding states? Well let's see: We supply water and energy to surrounding states. We have Gas lines running through the state to others from Texas. Russia/Urkraine ring a bell. Arizona has a strangle hold on several states with this move. THIS IS BIGGER THAN MOST THINK. And these are just the tip of the ice burg. There are more implications involved with this move
its not if ...its when...and soon my friend and soon....pay close attention something is afoot....i can smell it...and my senses are sending out warnings ...momemtum...will soon have the buggy going light speed...
Get out of America.Somethins coming and the US congress know or few do. Whether its a planned attack on us soil or the us dollar crash, its the beginning of depression of worse ww3.
Gerald Celete even made the prognostication that secessionist movements would gain more momentum that they ever have as this economic situation intensifies. At least the state governments are getting involved. I'm subbed to the Ridley Report, and heard a little about Arizona as well.
Something very big is happening...and soon i believe.
States rights vs Federalism was supposedly settled by the War Betwixed the States...(the Civil War to you Yankees out there)... 140 years ago...someone for got to tell the yankees that they won...states dont have rights ...
you like apples? how do you like those apples?
But seriously...this legislation is very important and should be a warning flag to those in doubt.
do you really think the fed would let any state secede from the union? do you remember what happened the last time states tried to secede? there is no way unless the vast majority of union decided to send its respective national guard after the nations armed forces.
Yes we remember and heaven forbid. That Russian analyst made the prediction of a USA breakup a few months ago. the approaching bankruptcy of the US treasury may be causing a lot of this.
If unemployment keeps rising and all signs point to the fact that it will, there will be unrest. Northcom busy bulding forces in violation of posse commettatus(sp). This will get interesting.
these bills basically are serving notice to the Feds that the states are RE-AFFIRMING THE ENFORCEMENT OF THEIR RESPECTIVE STATES CONSTITUTIONS, and putting the FEDS ON NOTICE....I think we may start seeing the beginning of States trying to secede from the UNION... and let the welfare states be on their own ie: CALIFORNIA...hey I'm all for it at this point
hello mike i cant help it but i have to give your vids 5 stars every time. this is what you get for being so good!
now let me ask you a question, my sister is going to visit disney world in florida during the next few weeks, they went there a couple of years ago and loved it. Is it safe for her and her family to travel there at this present time?
Hey Mike, thanks for this vid, there is a lot going on this week, things are starting to go real nuts around the world, and in the States. Canada, well beavers and groundhogs are still quiet here, so i don't expect troubles. It seems to me that is about to be a clash of titans. I am preparing to go back north to where i'm from, but i do feel bad for all those people that will be left behind. I'll avoid Toronto just in case (ref your last vid). Anyhow, thanks for these vids. I'm shocked.
Its about time I say......A big thank you to New Hampshire and Arizona for finally showing some balls...Now hopefully we can get this to go somewhere.
I have a feeling Texas will be next. New Hampshire's car licenses say "Live Free or Die." Arkansas has introduced a bill allowing open carry of firearms. Seems like the blood of our forefathers still runs in some of our veins.
I read about the NH bill this morning, thought it was great. I think Iowa should do the same. It really restates and forces the issue of constraint on the US Govt. as stated in the Constitution.
Don't Panic And Always Remeber Your Towel , Sorry Had To Add That Little Bit Of Douglas Adams There , Hope Everyone Takes The Advice And Gets Thier Representives Big Butts Moving Into Action On This , Good Find On The HCRs ,
This is the wake up call Obama and the everybody else in the administration need to see. I hope it becomes a sweeping movement. Apathy may be human nature but it has also become our enemy. We only have to remember where we as Americans stem from , whether that be Native American or immigrants we all stem from the best of the best, hard core survivalists. A firm but peaceful demand of a return to the basic Republic we were formed under can be had.
well the federal government has been needing a smackdown for quite a while now, but I never expected this!
Glad to see the patriots are coming to the fore, but I sure hope this is only the first couple of dominos, coz pressure borne in solitude might not be so pleasant, better if other states do same.
I'd love to have been a fly on Mr Presidents wall when his secretary passed this to him. Yowsers!
(i can't believe "yowsers" just came out of my brain?)
This truly is exciting. I actually see this as very good news for liberty... something that continually gets stomped on these days. One point for liberty, 666 points for tyranny... But, at least liberty is on the scoreboard again!
I knew 5 days was to long. Now just look what I have to deal with! You must realize that their are a few of us that count on you for their nightly news cast, at least a reliable news cast. Thanks!
You are one of the few posters who relay pertinent info. Thank you for all your hard work, and your level headed analysis. This is truly alarming info.
Your title: Is now is a good time to Panic? ... Sounds like someone, who is usually quite literate, is a bit, as we say, freaked out? If I interpret your title, Is Now = Present or Now, so the question reads: now is a good time to panic? or did you mean it to state: now is a good time to panic. Or are you just tired, or is your unconscious speaking through your fingers? Unfortunately, I think it is time to panic, and if you haven't prepared, then man or women damn, what r u waiting for???
It is a question. If I was in these states, I'd be thinking really hard "Do i need to be around right now"? For other Americans, perhaps it's a good thing to ask "should I get my local legislature to pass something similar"? If ALL the states passed similar laws, then the Federal government would be pressured into actually doing something to rescind the dictatorial powers the President has granted himself / been granted.
Exactly, it will take most if not all states passing similar legislature and making similar demands to have a good outcome. States divided could have disastrous results and would eventually produce a violent result. Making unified demands as a country is the only peaceful solution.
Phoenix is the CAPITOL of Arizona. If the sheep descend on the capitol, things will get outta hand. I for one don't want to be here when TSHTF. Too many people here think we are in the Wild West already. Wait until you have a Class III firearms state descend on the capitol. WOW.
I think Arizona has just slapped a spending Giant.
Deservedly so.Let's hope that the other 48 will follow. You would think that this is huge breaking news.... I've heard NOTHING. I had to get my U.S. news from a foreigner! Thank you!
EXACTLY. This is how Martial Law, Riots and all the garbage that goes with, get's started. Then morons that have held grudges start their garbage...and the cycle repeats, wash rinse repeat, until it's one big bag of doodoo.
Just an FYI Mike, I hope one day when all this is over that we can meet and have a pint or twelve. My friend, thank you for sharing your knowledge and wisdom. May GOD bless you and yours.
That's my guess - i look to G20 in London, start of April. The plans will be presented to the people as a solution for the unrest they have "suffered". Watch the lead-up to the G20.
OK read it. so what. be it the states that have power be it congress so what don't get it and i have read it. you seem to making out this is intrinsically bad it seems to be the same either way round
The states can declare the federal government void. Anarchy. Civil war. or even worse, Constitutional Convention; and they re-write it.
For North Americans, this is a HUGE deal.
It would be like Yorkshire saying to Parliament, uh, NO. Our constituents have the right to declare Parliament suspended. Can you imagine the outcome?
now i get it being a Yorkshire lad, thanks for the definition, don't know how i missed the obvious, i did not see it as an internal fight, power struggle, yea that could play out to inhalation. it has been said by some russian high flyer that he saw the break up of the united states, may come to pass
Yes, i saw the clip on CNN about the some highly praised Russian economist. Started studying US econ in 98 and predicts that west cst will be under Chinese rule; NE US could be come the American Republic or join EU; Cntrl US north- Canadian Rule;Central So to border including FL-mexican rule. Alaska to back to Russian and Hawaii back to Japan. That was his prediciton.
there is a movement to call a constitutional convention. 2 more states signatures are all that are required for such a convention to take place..this is not being reported..except as trivia ...
I admit I'm pretty ignorant about U.S. politics but it doesn't seem such a bad thing that some of the individual states are reminding the federal government there are limits to their powers. I'll try to follow this development though.
In the UK the central government has stripped away almost all the power of "local" government and we have what amounts to "Five year dictatorships". These days what the PM says goes.
The way I see it the cracks in the system are getting too big to bandaide together any longer. I would be surprised if they can make it till the G20 TBH.
Something has to give, they're trying to stop the titanic from sinking with a pail and it clearly isn't working.
The fear tactics are starting to come round again, this time from the Obama camp with regard to passing the stimulus, but many are beginning to balk and dig in their heels.
The whole thing will fail, it's just a matter of when.
Just wanted you to know how much your efforts are appreciated. I've gotten to where I've had to stop watching some tubers because of all the hatefullness going on right now.
But you are one that I still enjoy watching because you take the time to share important news with everyone.
So just wanted you to know that you are appreciated today.
I'm NH, and I'm happy. Happiest I've been in a long time. This isn't about/or going to lead to a civil war, it's more about seceding from the union at most.
I hear ya rata! If you all "stick to your guns" I could see myself moving there. If N.H. further creates its own gold or silver backed currency, I would pack my bags and move there pronto! Obviously N.H. would have to secede before coining its own money... but I wouldn't have a problem with that :) Anything to get from out of the sinister grips of the Federal Reserve!!!
"there is no peace until one group completely conquered and suppressed another group"
According to your logic we will never have peace because if there is only one group then the game just starts again: In the beginning everyone has more or less equal chances but with time you get elites and ordinary people -- and finally war.
We will only break this vicious circle by honesty, by recognizing ourselves as siblings and by quitting to seek (bankster's) privileges (like compound interest).
You cannot derive a long term development from a short term observation (e.g. you could also use the Greek and Roman empire as a counter example). The elites are about to merge the entire planet into a fraudulent system. If this system is in trouble, then there is no helping country left.

Its not all that weird it is a show down between the feds who passed unconstitutional laws and the states rights to not accept illegal laws
there will be a fight in the supreme court as to who prevails, maybe it will start a new civil war. ?

18th Amendment?
M0LONLABE 3 years ago
Surely these bills aren't talking about outright secession ? But limitations on federal intrusion as guaranteed in the 10th amendment.
gigsupusa 3 years ago
I don't believe the NH bill, is talking about secession, but the NH bill is making it very clear that the Fed Govt is and has overstepped it's boundaries.
I believe what this is attempting to do is not only remind the Fed Govt that the powers they possess are only those explicitly granted and that all others are left to the states or its people. Further, that it will not tolerate usurpation and it further calls null and void any power or law that is not expressly granted in the Constitution.
myliverwurst 3 years ago
Thanks for the explanation. It appears that Congress is absolutely out of control and needs to be taught a lesson as is the executive branch using Rahm Emanuel , the modern day version of Josef Goebbels.
gigsupusa 3 years ago
Your comment is on point. In my opinion both the legislative and executive branches have gone off the deep end.
I see this as notice to the Fed that NH recognizes its right as well as other states right to dissolve the representative general govt. in the event that it sees its sovereignty threatened in any way.
myliverwurst 3 years ago

Time to panic, but very calmly...

Unfortunately, I think it is time to panic, and if you haven't prepared, then man or women damn, what r u waiting for???
godgoldandguns 3 years ago 2
It is a question. If I was in these states, I'd be thinking really hard "Do i need to be around right now"? For other Americans, perhaps it's a good thing to ask "should I get my local legislature to pass something similar"? If ALL the states passed similar laws, then the Federal government would be pressured into actually doing something to rescind the dictatorial powers the President has granted himself / been granted.
I am aware, and watching from a distance.
Prepare.
Peace
FeverIAm 3 years ago
Exactly, it will take most if not all states passing similar legislature and making similar demands to have a good outcome. States divided could have disastrous results and would eventually produce a violent result. Making unified demands as a country is the only peaceful solution.

This is a VERY bad sign.
FeverIAm 3 years ago
now i get it being a Yorkshire lad, thanks for the definition, don't know how i missed the obvious, i did not see it as an internal fight, power struggle, yea that could play out to inhalation. it has been said by some russian high flyer that he saw the break up of the united states, may come to pass
darrenrooke 3 years ago
Yes, i saw the clip on CNN about the some highly praised Russian economist. centervilletn 3 years ago
Chaffinch4 3 years ago
The way I see it the cracks in the system are getting too big to bandaide together any longer. I would be surprised if they can make it till the G20 TBH.
Something has to give, they're trying to stop the titanic from sinking with a pail and it clearly isn't working.
The fear tactics are starting to come round again, this time from the Obama camp with regard to passing the stimulus, but many are beginning to balk and dig in their heels.
The whole thing will fail, it's just a matter of when.
