Alex Kid in Miracle World is EXCELLENT! I have it built into my Master System (hey, I',m a cool dude you know?) - it plays great and the music is maddeningly catchy! ^_^

thank you for this video! I'm italian and me too enjoyed these fantastic games... I would add Ecco the dolphin (it cost 150.000 lire 15 years ago but they were money spent well!), James Pond 1 (i never played james pond 2), Side pocket ( a billiards game, beautiful quickplay) Supermonaco GP, World Cup Italia 90, Ghostbusters and many more... definitely, mega drive is one of the best ever console? don't you think it?

i grew up with a Sega Genesis and i didn't get anything else until i found a used PS at a garage sale around 2001/2... so i played nothing but Sega Genesis (and all the Sonic games) for about 9-10 years

today i play games on my boyfriend's xbox, but i still miss my sega

I have a simular situation, I played my ole Commodore64 and SMS seems for ever until 1998, when I got a Nintendo64 then in 2001 I got this Dell 8200 which Im still on today :) :-/

i'm 31, only ever had sonys and segas (on ps3 right now) have played mario on gameboy for 5 mins, thought it shit, so disliked nintendo ever since. i have finihed 500ish games, only starwars on mates snes. nintendo might have well never existed as far as i'm concerned. long live sega and i demand shenmue 3.

I too was SMS and then Sega Genesis Kid. But when I played Gunstar heroes, I realized that if Sega only published Gunstar, and Treasure was the real Developer, that means that the people who made Alex Kidd in Mirical World could be anywhere. Seeing that I liked Treasure games more than Sega, from then on I tracked and bought Treasure Games. That has dictated what systems for me to buy. Treasure is Working on a Top Secret Wii title. Treasure likes Sega of the Genesis and SMS era.

if you're from england there's a freezer shop called iceland, and it sells superstrength cider in 3 litre bottles for 2 pounds 50 pence (about 5 dollars or euros). it gets you very drunk. my apologies for talking crap, i'm still drinking & drunk, i don't even remember posting that message.

woo hoo james pond! But u should have used footage of streets of rage 1, it was way better than 2 and 3. In 2 and 3 they zoomed the camera right in so the characters looked bigger but you couldnt see enemoies coming, and they god rid of adam :( adam was my favourite.

Sega was a great company plagued by bad investments and lack of 3rd party support. The Dreamcast was a terrific system. Even with the short life it had, I never regretted getting one.
