  • Martin Quittenton played this and co-wrote "Maggie May"...he also co-wrote "You wear it well"...what a genius!

  • Well played I can't find this Damn tab any where you should post it

  • This intro is the only part that I like of the song :)

  • Sounds good, but having tried out the tabs myself, and then listening to you play the piece, again, i've noticed that you don't play the last open g string 8th note in the second measure on the third beat.

You also don't play the second 8th note in the third measure on the first beat, and, if you are playing the open g note, you play it in place of the c note which should be the bass note for the 8th triplet. Sounds complicated, i know. Try it and see. Maybe i should play it and show you.

  • Nice work, how did you learn it ? From another tab or have you got good ears ?

I've been practising it for weeks and hope to post my own version, but I'm not such a fluent player as you.

To improve your video as a learning tool for the likes of me, it would have been good had the camera been straight over the fretboard, but that's a minor critizism.

  • Felt the love! Keep rocking and thanks!

  • Thanks Bro,

I've know the song Maggie May forever and never knew that there was an intro

    until a friend told me.

If you hear this intro as a guitar player

you HAVE to learn it. lol

Good job- thanks for the info

  • Nice Intro Cover Sounds Like The Real Intro!

  • I was here some time back. Forgot to fav this so I could find it again. Great job

  • Thanks. You are the only who had it right.

  • Awesome

  • Fantastic.

  • That was beautiful. Thanks for the tab

  • YOUR MY HERO!!!!!!!! i love this

  • you are the man. spot on!

    well done bro'

  • Very well done. Your tab page however is wrapping too soon. Each string has 2 lines instead of just 1 or is me?

Hard to make out what you are doing there. In fact, I can not even tell where each measure starts and ends and what notes are played together or singular. Very weird.

Oh well thanks anyway. And very nice playing.

  • I had the same problem but I figured it out...great arrangement

  • Hey thanks for that tab it was a hard one for me to find! You rock

  • thanks nice job...got your tab...you would happen to know any Rik Emmett from triumph intros

  • wow?. rod stewart?

  • that was pretty awesome. u knew this would question would probably come up sooner or later, but do you have the tab?

  • Some people have ask me for the tabs before and i have sometimes sent them and sometimes not, which is really unfair. That's why i'm going to put the tabs somewhere in the internet. When this happened, i will post here a comment. Thnak you all.

  • Done. You got the link for the tab up on "about this video"

    Thank you again

  • sick

  • you are the man

  • your awsome

  • That was very good. You must be an expert.

  • Nice. Harder than it looks. Good job.
