This felt good to come across today, after hearing about and seeing one of the 20 dead sea turtles washed up on the beach in Mississippi, following the huge oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico... and knowing that this was just the beginning of the suffering for the sea creatures and the people that live along the coast. Thank you for lifting my heart.

It's absolutely great to see animals free rather than being stuck in claustrophobic areas. Thank YOU Rinpoche for showing us how to care for other living beings.

HE Tsem Tulku Rinpoche, and other parties who have created animal sanctuary are doing a lot of good to help these animals who cannot help themselves.

Its rare to see people who care about the welfare of animals, apart from their pets.

The birds are adorable, and also, they are not just pets but purchased and taken care well to create an animal sanctuary. A very noble effort.

Wow, they really are consistent. I read somewhere that they now have 15 birds in the aviary, to create causes.

Yes, I remember reading about their visit to a previously located in Singapores animal shelter - Noahs Ark Natural Animal Sanctuary.

I remember this. There were some news about them visiting / collaborating with Independent Pet Rescue, Furry Friends Farm and so on.

They also support Kathmandu Animal Treatment centre, by donating things on their wish list, and also personally visiting the premise to learn more.

Apart from rescuing animals from the local pet store, much groundwork was done behind the scenes. For example, some of the liaisons have visited many animal shelters before to learn up about operations and also challenges they are facing etc.

Thank you so much, Rinpoche, for the love you give to our brother and sister animals. Kadro is very lucky. Maybe she can have a friend. I will try to post a video response of photos I have of a baby hippo who lost his mother and now loves his tortoise friend.  It's really quite amazing.
