i dont really get why people are going down on this movie -_- it is Scottish, not Norse, and is therefore not copying How to train your Dragon, and I frankly dont know what the heck else everyone thinks it is copying. I am looking forward to this movie, cause i think this looks good. so ha.

@rayol007 Tangled isn't Pixar studio film. The Pixar film of 2011 was Cars 2 ... And this year it is Brave which looks, well, bad. That's why I think they are losing their way, got cocky with the success of Toy Story 3, and release shitty films. They are releasing a prequel to Monsters Inc. in 2013, really??! Anyway, I hope Brave proves me wrong, looks like it's ripping off other films over the last couple of years.

My wife is a Scot. And a ginger. Our twin daughters are also gingers. And on occasion will turn on a bit of a Scots brogue. (They have been watching too much of the Doctor and imitating Amy Pond) Guess which movie we have to see this summer? I'll gladly go. This looks like more fun than Cars3, I mean Planes.

Disney is really makin their Princesses change!

The Princess and the Frog- Tiana was a hard working dreamer who eventually became a Princess.

Alice In Wonderland- Alice was a lost girl who became a warrior to fight her way to freedom and to save Wonderland.

Snow White and the Huntsman- idk anything about her yet except that she's also a warrior.

And now Brave, who has a Princess changing her fate by being a brave warrior. i just need Disney to create good Prince movies now.

With Brave, I think it's more Disney distributes, Pixar creates sort of thing. I agree with having some princes thrown in. That would be pretty nice to have some males. Lol

Miyazaki was making movies and tv shows with active females in the 70s when Disney princesses were all sitting around the wishing well. I am so glad Lasseter is such a big fan of Miyazaki.

Disney did quite well BEFORE Pixar....(cough) Lion King (cough) Aladdin....but now that it HAS Pixar it totally KICKS ASS! This movie might well already be slotted for best animation of 2012 (assuming Monsters Inc 2 isn't better). They more or less just rubber stamp it for Pixar anyhow.
