to all of you wondering the meaning, there was a special 2 disc thing they had for sale, one was a dvd with audio commentary on some of their vids with guess who? maynard himself. as for 3 libras, he said there were a bunch of people in his life with similar bday (libras i imagine) who never saw the real value, the true beauty of his soul whatever you wanna call it, they didnt see it. the song was called 3 libras so that the bunch of them could argue amongst themselves who the 3 were.

Changing the time signature totally changes the mood of the song. This is a good example. There was a bit of this bass line in one of the Amotion remixes of 3Libras. Personally, I thought the remixes kinda sucked cuz they didn't capture the feeling of the original.

This version, however, takes the step passed the remixes and turns it waaaay darker with the extra quarter note in there, instead of the original 6/8, it's in 8/8 grouped 3, 3, 2.

I downloaded this acoustic version years ago, so it has to before Iha joined up...I think. I never saw them in concert, but I heard alot of their music would change drastically at times. An old room mate told me Maynard was painted half black and half white vertically for the song "Vanishing." Seeming to dissapear or partially appear when the light was right or strobe on stage.
