First (and only) chance I got to see them was with Kitty and Papa Roach OPENING for them. Proof the world is unfair: Papa Roach went on to get a 2 Grammy nominations and these guys went underground!
there are way to many unrecoginzed artists in the world here is a good example. These guys are amazing and have great potential. But yet not many people know of them.

@ninjafilms1000 Yeah, i'm recently obsessed with the word "noob". I'm not a nerd and I usually HATE nerd terms such as "pwned"....but "noob" just rolls off the tongue so nicely.
Been a fan since I saw them on the warped tour in like 1999 when they were touring their first album. I kinda fell away from them for the past couple albums but I'm really liking this new stuff.
i'm a big ass sevendust fan and telling by how they played at the Tabernacle last night BADASS! best fucking concert i ever been at, i felt homesick like a mothsfuker when it ended. sevendust 4 life.
I hate to be the one to say it but this song is like the PERFECT song for a guy who's gone through a rough break up! I love the lyric "So go play God in someone elses life, you and me are now forever dead" Its so awesome! I went and bought this on the day it came out in stores and I've been listening to it non stop since! Absolutely awesome guys!
i wish these guys would come to Australia soon, us sevendust fans here are dying! and they're SO ludicrously underrated here, it pisses me off how great bands like this go so unnoticed in this country whilst we let the lady gaga's and akons run rampant on the music biz \m/
I've always liked Sevendust a lot, but when i first heard their 1st latest song "Unraveling" i was like sure, interesting, but then when i heard this song i was like HOLY SHIT!! I WANNA GET THAT NEW ALBUM NOW!!!
BTW can anybody tell me who the lead singer of Sevendust is?
@LinkinWarrior92 u asked who the lead singer was and then asked if he was in the background. He is the singer, the main one you hear. Not black, not white, not purple. He is the main singer.
The screaming is Morgan the drummer. The other guy is clint the guitarist
wow i didn't know that the clint could scream like that totally badass!!!! just shows the talent and versitility that all members of sevendust bring to the table
I want brain crushing riffs like the ones in waffle, if i wanted pussy music i'd listen to the killers. It's a shame sevendust have been on a downward spiral from the beggining...
I LOVE WHERE THIS BAND IS AT!!!! Perfect blend of old school and mainstream, great job! Unravelling is a masterpiece!!! April 25th baby, with Puddle of Mudd and Papa Roach!
Saw them in Indy a few weeks ago with DP and rocked it from what i remember pretty drinky that night but gunna see them again in South Bend the 21st of next month twice in a month im pretty lucky this year
I listened to you guys a lot before I got into metal, with Seasons and Animosity being my favorite albums at the time. I still check back in every once in a while (and was rewarded for doing so with Alpha, holy shit), but I was disappointed with whatever your latest album was.
This song and "Unraveling" sound like you're moving back toward the accessibility of Seasons without sacrificing too much of the emotion from Alpha, which I like. Still waiting for a song to top "Damaged," though.
@AbsoluteDemon I always thought Damaged was one of their best songs. Something about it made me have it on repeat when I first heard it all those years ago.
@denveraic yeah I mean dont get me wrong I love unraveling too, but this just has more of that original 7d feel to it that I know and love from Seasons.
Saw 7D last night in KC, thanks fellas for a hell of a show! like yall said KC is a second home for yall and u guys are welcome back ANYTIME! please come back to rockfest this summer! peace!
zackomac, I'm most certainly addicted to 7D, they are that good, IMHO. I am a pretty good drummer, but Morgan Rose is on a whole different level. It's not just his foot work that I think is awesome, it's the structure of the songs and his way of playing within it. It's just fascinating to me. Listening to 7D is like your favorite candy, or a steak, or a beer,,,,,,,you just can't get enough!
Lately, the very 1st thing I do, once I sit down, after coming home from work is listen to this song. It's like a drug to me.
Morgans foot work is beautiful. Anyway, I've been a big fan since 98 and love all their albums. But I keep finding myself putting in "Alpha" more and more. The whole CD is just brutal. It seems to fit my mood lately. Counting down the days for the new CD.
@newbrownale that's the exact same thing I do. I just got home from work 5 minutes ago, sat down, picked up my guitar, went to youtube, found this song and played it. lol. first thing.
The beautiful thing about 7D is that they can do it all. Weather you love the "melody" on Seasons or the anger from Alpha there is something for everyone. It's what makes 7D better than EVERY OTHER BAND!
For the record "the sound" that the last album lacked is for sure back
best albums are by far seasons and animosity. V good singles on Next and Chapter VII though. new album looks like its good a new level of guitar polish which is mostly down to the awesome clint lowrey being back!!!
This song is badass and I imagine the album will be equally awesome... On a matter of personal preference, I think that what I've been missing since Clint left was a particular groove. Hopefully that's not too vague... what I mean is, Sevendust used to be a lot funkier. The last few albums have been much more forward leaning-metal (does that phrase make sense to anyone?). It's awesome, but I miss that funky groove they utilized in "Home" and "Animosity"... here's hoping...
@berkeleyoverdrive i know what you mean man......the 3 albums were good since clint left but without clint it just hasnt been the same, it lacks ''the sound''.....i cant wait for this album
in order to hear this song as it should you need to listen to it REALLY REALLY LOUD. saw it thursday live in baton rouge at the varsity. it was really really loud. awsome
I agree...i think it's ok, and Unraveling is a good song but I like how Alpha had a quite a few songs that had a thrash vibe to them. Ch. VII did on a few too.
Sorry I said lee evans in my comment I meant Lee Banks I was thinking of the wide reciever from the Wisconsin Badgers and Buffalo Bills when I said that.
Kansas City the day is almost upon us....Friday Feb. 26th. BEHOLD......7DUST! I cant w8 4 the adrenalint 2 pass thru my veins from their live show! Pussies to the back please cuz when the stompin starts u will b turned to wine and i dont want to hear u whine
You guys need to stop complaining and start praising the awesomeness of Sevendust. If we had more bands like these guys (instead of all these "re-trend" groups), it'd be a hell of a lot easier to find some quality music.
Anyhow, this is an incredible song. It's such a treat to hear from Sevendust again. Can't wait to pick up the album.
why do people come on here and make up shit and hate on music. Just shut the fuck up and listen to the best band of all time or listen to whatever it is that you like. Sevendust is Lajon Witherspoon, Clint Lowery, John Connelly, Vinnie Hornsby, and Morgan Rose. Sonny Mayo was in the band for Next album, Alpha, and Hope & Sorrow. Lee Evans didn't make the cut couldn't hack it and Clint Lowery kicks fuckin ass.
lmao, lovin how every one on this page sounds like they have a major in sevendust or something...this song is awesome. cant wait for the concert in houston!!
I don't get why people are bashing this song...its way faster than most of their recent albums. It may not be UBER DEATH HEAVY, but its fuckin fast and I like it.
If it wasn't for "Home", Sevendust probably wouldn't be here anymore. Home put Sevendust on the map, it was their breakout record. Their first notable single was Waffle. Clint wrote most of that record. And he also was the primary songwriter on what me and many other people believe is, to date, their magmum opus, Animosity. Their first major label release was good, but the 2 following records, with Clint pretty much dominating the songwriting, we're by far their best.
Home is by far their best album. I think I was in sixth or seventh grade when I bought it. Animosity was good as well and so was Seasons, but after that...not so much. Like the solo in this song, but wish it were longer. Everything after Seasons has been repetitive garbage imo. I do have high hopes for this album. The first single sounded like a breath of fresh air. They need to get away from this sound right here though. It's not good at all.
I don't know, what I'm hearing hear brings me back to Animosity, I can definitely feel Clint's presence. I think this is a million times better than anything on the last 3 records. Oh, and by the way, ROLL DAMN TIDE !!!!!!!!!!
Anyway, i though that songs like Terminator , Speak , Bitch or Prayer were made by Lee Banks... The descriptions of the demos in youtube say it what the hell Lee make in the band?...
But , if really Clint say the otherwise i believe it...

I gotta say that I'm disappointed with this.
I wish they would Thrash it out a little more and lay off of they "catchy" choruses and just get more of a groove back into the song.
Hopefully the album will rock harder than this.
This sounds very rushed. Don't get me wrong, it's heavy...but without much thought.

Clint did not make 7dust... The first Sevendust guitarrist was Lee Banks... and this guy made songs like Black , Bitch , Terminator or Face...
You can put in youtube "Sevendust Black Demo..."

Clint Lowery answer me???... holy shit...
Anyway, i though that songs like Terminator , Speak , Bitch or Prayer were made by Lee Banks... The descriptions of the demos in youtube say it what the hell Lee make in the band?...
But , if really Clint say the otherwise i believe it...
Greetings
