were you the guy in the "ghoon" section with the white helmet. i was laughing through the torture chambers. couldnt believe i was actually being electrocuted in a pitch black tunnel! This and the underwater dunkings were the worst parts but that figure of 8 ruined me. still not sure what happened between there and the finish line!
@StuartHayestube The Torture Chamber was 'orrid. I found this and the figure of eight to be the worst. Water dip was pretty quick. Having 120Volts to the forehead is not fun. How were you laughing through this! Probably a good way to get through it. Wicked.
It's pitch black in there and you can't see much, you're surrounded by screams. Just when you think you have avoided the electric shocks then ZAP! on your head, you can't help but scream! Sometimes I can still hear the screams at night. lol! Well done to all fellow competitors.
The torture chamber was terrible, much worse the last year! The last electric wire on the left, just before you got to the conctrete tunnels was insane. It must have been exposed, because I got almost zapped unconsious, and my m8 also lol! Al I saw was a bright white flash and felt like someone knocked me on the head with a club. then I made a big smack in the mud, with my m8 seconds later laying next to me haha
the torture chamber was horrific! I must have missed the 'always look on the bright side of life' renditions, shame! agree these are great videos.. saw someone at the start with camera on head, wonder if it was you? good for you, well done!
well done mate - great videos - for me the worst stage was the figure of 8 just before the barb wire crawl..that when the cold really set in !! highpoint however was breaking into a chorus of ''always look on the bright side of life'' when in the torture chamber! for a brief moment it dulled the screams of agony from the cattle proders! Same again next year then.........no chance!
ha that was me shouting "are you joking" at the entrance to the torture chamber. Worst obstacle ever.

haha that really was total carnage in there!
Id say it brought back memories but it was that damn dark i couldnt see anything until it all went purple from a shock.

Brilliant vid !! I can still feel those shocks , bloody horrible! Could not help but scream !.
This was the best/worst part of the course.
Underwater dunks in the ice water was just insane.
