Re the risks, depends on how good the surgeon is. Not all breast implants look fake and hard, depends on how big you go, how much breast tissue you had orginally.
I hate the look of breast implants. Most of the ones I've seen look gross. I prefer a woman with small natural breasts to a woman with implants, any day.
I think it sad that people feel unhappy within their own bodies and feel the need to resort to surgery. They should look within and find the real issues that are affecting them.

I am so flat-chested I could easily get away without wearing a bra (if running didn't get painful), but I would never have a boob job. I don't see the point. I supported my wife's decision to get augmentation, but it is a decision of hers that I really regret. Although they look nice (if not a little too large) in a dress, they crinkle when you handle them. They feel like plastic and the feeling bothers both her and me. I really miss natural, soft, breasts.
And now I can easily tell when I see fake boobs. There are little ripples on the sides, and the top stands out like a shelf.
Unless it is for reconstruction, I would NEVER recommend them.

A few years later one of the implants started leaking and she had to have it replaced. Unfortunately she went even larger, which was too out of proportion for her small frame. But I believe you when you say yours look great.

With ANY surgery there are risks but two points are never mentioned: 1) The pain is unbelievable -- to have skin instantly stretched and 2) implants must be replaced, they don't last your entire life, it's surgery again and again and again.
I had breast cancer in one breast. I got reconstruction using a silicone implant under the chest muscle. My nipple is gone and skin numb. This is something I had to do. You risk never feeling your nipple, nerves being severed &leaving you less than a woman sexually, you are more than your breasts .Not to mention that implants leave it very difficult to find breast cancer if you should, God forbid, ever develop it. I would take a small breast that "worked" over what I am left with now ANYDAY.

@oompaloompaboi That's actually not true for sub-pectoral implants. Mammograms are effective in that kind of surgery. It is true that sub-glandular implants make breast cancer detection harder, but there are other methods for finding it. Also, you mention the risks but fail to mention that the rate of problems with implants is less than 1%. Overall, the procedure is highly successful and if yo ask any woman who has had them 99.9% of them will tell you they're 100% happy with them.
at this point in time, breast augmentation leaves much scaring that is uncomfortable to me. please know in your own heart and mind that your reading the subjective opinions of just me.

My sister has them. She never had issues with them and she said there are very small marks from the insertion.
She says she feels more attractive and because of that she has more assurance/confidence. She says that the confidence boost from the new breasts did more for her than her law degree. But that's her case. Hope my comment helped even if I am not a woman.

They use 'rough edge' technology to stop scarring forming. If u see the implant, it feels kinda furry & isn't like a smooth bag... more like white hairs on it. I had mine done with the new hi-cohesive silicone a year ago. I have minimal scarring, beautiful breasts & NO side effects. Everything feels normal. The key is don't go too big in one go!

Im a 34C, my boyfriend says he loves my boobs just the way they are, but I feel that Id have more confidence and feel better naked with breast implants, not so much for a different size but different shape, but after reading about all the risks, and such... Ive really been doing my research, and I dunno looks a little to risky for my likes.. too bad though.. cause if everything went right it'd be amazing...

Men dont like the idea of them being fake and women only do it because they are uncomfortable with their female parts so they wish to change them. Breast implants can sometimes be very dangerous to the back and normally cost a fair amount of money but is it worth it? NO! because any straight man is going to get an erection the instant they see breasts: natural or fake.

With ANY surgery there are risks but two points are never mentioned: 1) The pain is unbelievable -- to have skin instantly stretched and 2) implants must be replaced, they don't last your entire life, it's surgery again and again and again.

I had breast cancer in one breast. I got reconstruction using a silicone implant under the chest muscle. My nipple is gone and skin numb. This is something I had to do. You risk never feeling your nipple, nerves being severed &leaving you less than a woman sexually, you are more than your breasts .Not to mention that implants leave it very difficult to find breast cancer if you should, God forbid, ever develop it. I would take a small breast that "worked" over what I am left with now ANYDAY.

@oompaloompaboi That's actually not true for sub-pectoral implants. Mammograms are effective in that kind of surgery. It is true that sub-glandular implants make breast cancer detection harder, but there are other methods for finding it. Also, you mention the risks but fail to mention that the rate of problems with implants is less than 1%. Overall, the procedure is highly successful and if yo ask any woman who has had them 99.9% of them will tell you they're 100% happy with them.

My sister has them. She never had issues with them and she said there are very small marks from the insertion.
She says she feels more attractive and because of that she has more assurance/confidence. She says that the confidence boost from the new breasts did more for her than her law degree. But that's her case. Hope my comment helped even if I am not a woman.

Well it's up to you, some women have issues with being flat chested and or small. Some women have issues/problems being overly indowed. I would do it for you if you are going to do it, don't do it for someone else. If your're breasts are going to be as big as those balloons, then that's kinda silly big ,too me, unless your going to do porn or something. LOL There's different options in implants I would do alot of research first. Not all feel fake, I've heard it can depend on the implant.

They use 'rough edge' technology to stop scarring forming. If u see the implant, it feels kinda furry & isn't like a smooth bag... more like white hairs on it. I had mine done with the new hi-cohesive silicone a year ago. I have minimal scarring, beautiful breasts & NO side effects. Everything feels normal. The key is don't go too big in one go!

My suggestion would be to start off small to get your skin used to having such a foreign object in there. You can always go bigger later on.
