Hi, I don't suppose you know how the torso is connected to legs, do you? I have this fig but the shoulder had a brittle joint that snapped and I've seen the new Steel Mill T-1000 fig uses the same upper body. I was planning to swap it over but I don't think anyone knows and NECA have zero customer service!
I bought this figure. The accuracy to Robert Patrick is brilliant but the figure itself is incredibly delicate. I pulled his arm off simply by moving it, and I wasnt being rough whatsoever. I can re-attach it fine but now its very loose. It is very hard to get him to stand too. In summary, its a 10/10 collectable but the ridiculous delicacy of it and the fact that it is so hard to make him stand, means I have to give it 7.5/10.

I liked your comments about the original intrigue inspired by the film, and how the figure brings that back. You are spot on. When T2 came out, it was waaaay ahead of its time. I find it kind of sad that when I go back and watch such films from time to time, they are dated- at least in my mind- a bit. I guess thats why they're considered classics.

As far as iconic villains go, I think that the T800 from the first Terminator could be told as much more iconic. The first thing he did was rip a man's heart right out of his chest, and the last thing he did was crawl towards Sarah Connor, its eyes glowing, its skin stripped down, and it's legs blown off, with an almost indestructible core.
Anyways, i think they could have improved this fig by giving him bigger eyes with pupils that looked past the brow, to give him that stare that he had.

Ok, I have a quesstion and its important if you answer. When you (if you had) remove its hands, did they break? I'm asking because I got one on Ebay, and I feel I was ripped off. He wasn't packaged, He didn't have the accessories (Pointer hand, Extra hands, or gun) and when I removed one of his hands, the peg got stuck in there. I don't see this being a Neca fault, but more of a sellers thought. any ideas?

A greater villain is the T-Rex from Jurassic Park. As a kid, he scared the crap out of me and he still does. Spielberg portrayed this amazing, terrifying creature perfectly. What do you think, optibotimus?
@MegaDoome That wasn't a vilain, per say. He was the antagonist, right till when the Raptors escaped, at least, but not the main villain. The main villain was Nedry. Jurassic Park portrayed the dinosaurs as animals, not hunting, killing, and downright evil things that killed for pleasure. At least all but the raptors. Those were scary.

@imranbecks The McFarlane version is way inferior to these versions by NECA. The hot toys one is decent. I don't think they really captured the look of the actor though. Not to mention it's huge and expensive.

@optibotimus That's character analysis. You said "iconic". That's imagery based and as far as villains go, Darth Vader's gotta be high if not top of the list of recognizable villains. Sometimes they just use his shadow as a marketing tool, for crying out loud.

One of the best scenes in T2 was when the t-1000 had the spike thru Sarah's shoulder, and he says in the calmest, creepiest voice i have ever heard, "Call to John, I know this hurts. Call to John." F'n fantastic.

But in terms of evil, i now don't think he's as evil as the T-1000. Vader turned evil to try and discover the power to save his loved ones. @pkcirtap9 too expensive and while i'm sure i would like it...they're too...big. These are much more affordable..same level of realism if you ask me...and much better when it comes to space saving
@imthe13thgod T2 was really one of the first movies i saw in a movie theater. Not to mention i have a lot of fond memories of seeing it at a drive in. Something very rare.
T2 is where the story ended IMO. John and co. destroyed Cyberdyne, The arm and the chip. The future has been saved...Know why? CAUSE IM TYPING THIS COMMENT! That's proof that there will be no judgement day.

There's also a scene in which he grabs a railing (yellow and black triped) and his hand gets attatched to it and gets the same colors :-) seems to e a bug when he's too hot lol

@imthe13thgod T2 was really one of the first movies i saw in a movie theater. Not to mention i have a lot of fond memories of seeing it at a drive in. Something very rare.

T2 is where the story ended IMO. John and co. destroyed Cyberdyne, The arm and the chip. The future has been saved...Know why? CAUSE IM TYPING THIS COMMENT! That's proof that there will be no judgement day.

@chris2233 I would generally agree with you. I think that T3 COULD have been good...but it was forced. James Cameron not being involved really really hurt it IMO

@optibotimus Oh for sure, Cameron himself stated why he did not want to do anymore cause he in fact thought that T2 was a great way to end the series. Just another franchise that Hollywood has to kill.

@chris2233 I agree. It was ended perfectly. If i remember correctly....Schwarzenegger himself fronted a lot of the money to get T3 done...which is lame. They forced it...and it came out badly. It COULD have been good as i said...but eh

@optibotimus I think it's called the "extended special edition" or directors cut or something... don't really remember the exact title. There's also a scene in which he grabs a railing (yellow and black triped) and his hand gets attatched to it and gets the same colors :-) seems to e a bug when he's too hot lol
