I have searched the well for about an hour, and can't find it anywhere. Does someone think it might have glitched outside the walls?

@Losuurx u can get it on some quest but the easyest and quickest way is go to the imperial palace and there are gaurd in white/silver armour with a gold trim kill one and the take the shield but check ur inventory and make sure the shield is not stolen if it is u may want to serve your time in jail (or pay) the open the evidence chest behind the jailors desk there are more ways but thats the easy way for me

@Losuurx Pretty much the only way you can get it is by having experience sneaking and picking locks, going to the jail or barracks in the imperial city, then picking the locks on the doors to the amory to the left. Or just wait until further into the main quest to loot it from a dead legion gaurd.

@1999nader i figured out how i could do it i get it off his body drop it pick it up (with hands) not put inventory and bring it over to the latter and put it in my inventory and climb latter up drop, pick up, carrie, and so on until i get to the guild again

Talking to Falcar, thant you can talk to Deetsan about the key. Deetsan will tell you if Falcar is near or not. In this video: Falcar is not near her.

Pick up the ring until the new log thing pops up, then just drop the ring, you dont need it to finish the quest

I did these quests long time ago, and its meant that you get encumbered when looting the ring. the thing you have to do is: throw all your heavy stuffs out on a place near where you remember it. then go down and equip the ring and go up again and turn in the quest and then go and get all your equipment! ^^ hope that helped =)

go pick up the ring.

brick it back.

put it down.

and finish or

use the grab key to hold it and drag it to the mages guild like i did
