thank goodness i took mine apart. I bought it off of amazon.com(white tiled mf8 megaminx) When i took it apart i found that an edge piece and a corner piece were glued together. It must have happened when the tiles were put together.

I've watched at least 10 tutorial videos on how to solve a megaminx, and yours was the easiest to follow, by far. The only problem I was having was figuring out a plan of attack, and you totally provide that in this video. I was glad you didn't explain each step, because anyone with a decent understanding of 3x3 algorithms should know what to do. Nice job and thanks.

@nacratboy Sure. try to place one edge of the V first.. then get the other edge and corner into the top layer, and you can place them in the same way as you would for F2L.

yeah man, you didn't explain anything. Maybe some people are cubing for the first time and this just happens to be the one they have and are trying to learn it, but don't know how to do a 3X3. I can do a 3X3 easy, but the step you do after the F2L, creating those little "v's", it's tricky like you said. I got the first 4 intuitively, but am now feeling stuck on the last one and I can do a 3X3. Your tutorial is a FAIL

The day I got my first megaminx, I had all but the last layer solved in less than 10 minutes. It's not hard. Don't be such a lame ass, unbunch your panties, and have another go at it. It's easy. It would take me 40 minutes to explain every step of a megaminx. Not happening. If you think you can make a better tutorial, no one's stopping you.

i got my megaminx a few weeks ago. it came with no instructions but i can build 6 sides connected and the last 6 are almost finished. but now if i make any move it breaks up the completed sides. so i gave up and came searchin for a bit of help... i got bored of the rubix, you can only finish it so many times before the excitement of completion dies down. all i do now is try to beat my own times...

f2l is just an easier and a more complex way of putting edges into the second layer. Use the beginners method taught by Dan Brown (pogobat) if you dont want to learn it.
