Seriously? Is everyone buying into this crap? His voice is angelic? Really? To me it sounds like the voice of a heavy smoker trying to sing. As for the sound of the music from his side project. Ever listened to Depeche Mode, or The Killers? You know, the other good music out there he ripped off. This guy is sad and not in some sexy emo way. He is sad in the fact that he rips off good music and manages to still sound like crap. Hey, I suppose "Love is blind" would apply to fangirls too.

Its all about influences and the music he wanted to make. So what if it sounds similar to something else? It happens. Not much you can do about it. It sounds like you just hate William in general with no real justification. If you don't like it, I'd suggest not listening to it. I'm not starting a fight, just voicing my opinion.

i love how much talent he has. the essential nature of who is he doesn't change, but how he expresses it does and it's not very easy for people to do that and be successful when they do. at the very least you have to give him props for that. Control and Aiden are simply amazing groups. <3
