How did you record that? Webcam with the keyboard plugged direct into the line in on the computer? If I do that with my XK-1, i only get noise as if the overdrive is on.
The original wasn't faster, but the bass line was syncopated (something like F2|F F Ab Bb )
Your version is done well, but it lacks the thing, so it's less swingin' :)
