Doesn`t matter what you believe Chevy, in about 3-4 decades when there is no more oil, you too will be forced to produce cars that don`t use petrol so don`t act like it`s a choice.

Beautiful commercial, but what an awful company. GM has hurt so many Americans in the last couple of decades, especially. Bob Lutz was as close to the devil as any human ever was/is. I will NEVER buy a GM product, no matter how sweet, pretty or sexy the commercial.

by the way not to take any "Thunder" away,.seems not many post "remember the "Hydrogen from H2O "experiment electrified by a battery" , we learned how to clean burn or, bottle for later in school science class and gas in the 80s was going way up we thought. Now put an ( added ) fuel line & Now a lot of 18 wheel truckers are doing that for a few years already.

I drove half way across the US to see friends , it is great seeing so much cool interesting stuff & now plug in Chevys.

Only if you keep it charged and drive within 40 miles it doesn't use cas. And charging a full battery only cost 80 cents per charge.

What happen to reality? A Chevy is worth more than any vehicle on average when you drive it any years after purchase &safest,+OnStar. GM has passion for people, safety, the luxury of returning our troops.1st time TV "Live battle News" crews found out, most unbreakable, most unstoppable, GM, bringing you home too. My average family estate house lawnmower weighs 50% as a small import. Imports do not pay for vehicle metal their Government does & GM is competing against a Government in reality .

its the chevy volt electric car, it goes into production as a 2010 model, so only a couple more years. itll be around $30K, go 40 mile per charge, yet it will also have like a 8 gal gas tank which recharges the batteries for up to 600 miles i think.

Unfortunately, recent news from Bob Lutz has set pricing at around $40k, we're still waiting on word for government tax rebates to pull the price of the Volt down to around $30k.

The Volt will have a 40 mile electric-only range, and a small onboard gasoline engine that recharges the batteries, achieving an estimated 150 MPG. And yes, it's already been done. We have E-Flex systems in 5th gen. Malibus being tested right now, and it will be in production as scheduled for the 2010 launch date.
