  • BEST CURLING IRON VIDEO YET!<3 THANKS A MILLION LOVE!

  • the reason u have 2 one" is dat u love it ... =)

  • Thnks iam orderin 1" :)

  • Thank you SO much. This was VERY helpful!

  • I have the purple one and it works for me. I think it works best if you have really thick hair. Metal is worse for your hair than ceramic though.

  • wow thanks for the info : ) <3

  • You try the new pink titanium hot tools curling iron? Could you do a review of who suits you the best? the gold ones or the pink or the purple ones ;) plsss i think we all appreciate!

  • I got the 1 inch ceramic purple hot tools and loooove it. Glad I saw your vid, I was going to get a conair and I think the hot tools is a lot nicer. Got it for $25 on amazon!

I am wondering if the purple just works better for some people depending on hair type. I have medium, sort of coarse hair and it works great.

  • @TwistedxKiss Did you get yours from Amazon for $25? :o Including shipping?

  • I got the 1 inch ceramic purple hot tools and loooove it. Glad I saw your vid, I was going to get a conair and I think the hot tools is a lot nicer. Got it for $25 on amazon!

  • I have shoulder length hair with some shorter layers-- it was an inverted bob that's growing out. I am completely torn between the 1in and 11/4in. I'm really only interested in a daytime look so I don't want my curls to be too tight, but I don't just want to flip my hair out.. I want to use my iron as an actual curling iron. Is the 1 1/4 too big or is that what I should go with? I CAN'T DECIDE!

  • Crap. I should have listened to you. I went out and bought a 1 1/2" one despite having shoulder length hair. The hairstyle I am looking to create involves loose curls. Unfortunately, the rod ends up being too big that I don't have enough length of hair to produce nice curls. I'm going to exchange it for a 1 1/4" tomorrow.

  • what is the brand of the curl iron 3/4 i was looking in the website could not find it it show different one.

  • Thanks!!! This video really helped!!!

  • my curling iron sucks it doesnt give neary as good results as that

  • for that 3/4, since my hair is like shoulder length, could it be ok for school/casual?

  • @badbrunette412 3/4 is a really tight curl, i have a 1 inch and i use it for school and for formal, it works both ways. :]

  • Omg, the top clicks! Im so gonna spend £100 on this!

  • this was soo helpful thank you!

  • thanks so much for this it helped a lot! what heat setting do u put the curling irons on???

  • Thank you for this review!!!! 1,000 stars!

  • this was uploaded on christmas eve :)

  • My hair doesn't seem to hold curl very well. It's kinda medium thick though. Which curling iron/spray or gel would you recomend ? I love curly hair so please any advice would be nice .

  • @lilredrhodes actually, one way to curl it very well and is actually the proper way to do it is to start at the middle section of the strand your using, curl it, then lightly press the clamp and pull out to the end, then curl it up again. good luck.

  • Thank you so much, this was so helpfull!!

  • Great vid by the way :)

  • My hair is an 1-2 inches shorter than yours and I have fine hair, and I can't seem to get my hair to hold a curl for anything. I'll curl my hair and within 10-15 mins it basically falls flat. I've tried a few different hair sprays and that doesn't make a difference. What can I do to improve this? I'd be happy if it lasted a few hours lol. I regularly use a Revlon 3 barrel waver and that works and holds all day, so idk wtf. Its frustrating me and I've kinda given up on curling my hair :\

  • very helpful video thank u! =)

  • SALE! .... awww man this was in 08' =( lol

  • hot tools or babylis???

    :)

  • Thank you SO much for demonstrating! I have been trying to figure out exactly which barrel size to buy and couldn't find much help until I saw your video. I'm now sold on the Hot Tools 1 1/4in. I completely agree with you on the cons of the 1in, but I never would have realized it had I not seen this video. You're a great demonstrator too! Thanks again :)

  • do you have to use the clamp? and also do these curling irons make kinks in your hair if you curl it the right way?

  • outstanding suggestions! thanks for sharing, have anyone sampled L'Oreals newest range of products? it's hard to get cosmetics in Wayne yet you can obtain amazing cosmetic samples from 'Gratis Makeup Samples'! their cool!

  • yu shouldnt start curling the pice of hair from the bottom it burns the ends of yur hair

  • what inch is the 6:20

    plz reply :D

  • @xItzMiMix That was a 1 1/4.

  • thanks pursebuzz! i bought some hot tools curling irons and my hair has never looked better!

  • i bought the 1 and 1/4 you have from hott tools and the 3/4 i LOVE the 3/4 and the other is a little to big for me. maybe because i need ceramic more. But i just bought the titanium waver from hot tools it is SOO good! you should try it

  • I have thick wavy and puffy hair; I would like to buy a curling iron so i have the nice loose waves - look for school. But i don't know which one i should get: the 3/4 because i saw that it looks really cute and like a beach waves thing, or the 1 and 1/4 or 1" because you said it's much looser.

  • i've got quite thin hair, but quite alot of it.

i really want a small-ish curling iron (3/4 inch maybe) but i don't want really tight curls.

:S if i run my fingers through my hair will it loosen a bit so they with be less tight?

  • yes but do it when your hair has cooled down

  • ty!

  • Comment removed

  • gosh..the kink tip is so great!! thank you so much!

  • If hot tools and Helen of Troy are the same irons...why is Helen of Troy irons cheaper than hot tools irons?

  • i love your videos :) thanks for all your help :)

  • i got the 1st iron u had {which i have!} for $12.15! which was a long time ago !

  • eyy thanks very much musefan410 !!!!!!!!!!!! you are my savior

  • QUESTION!!!

i've heard people say to buy ceramic curling irons because they damage your hair less. but some people say that the gold hot tools curling iron is really good (even though its not ceramic)

so is it still ok/better to buy the gold hot tools vs another ceramic curling iron?

    thank you!

  • hot tools is very good long lasting curls! u can do every style with the iron and my friend said the smallest 1 protects ur hair 2!!

  • Comment removed

  • hay !! I don't understand SIZES, i want the same size of your favorit favorit hot tools? what's size please ???

  • she said her favorite was the 1 1/4 inch :)

  • Comment removed

  • thanks SO MUCH for making this video!! I couldn't decide which size to get but now I know. Saved me time and money!! I LOVE YOU PURSEBUZZ!!

  • whats the name of the site she buys things from?

  • what kind of curling iron size should I get if I want like, loose curls, natural looking ones? ( for shoulder length hair or bob cut, but mostly for shoulder length hair)

    PLEASE REPLY!!!!

  • I would go with a 1 1/4 inch barrel. If you have shorter or shoulder length hair, this is the way to go. A 1 inch barrel will give you curls a little too tight and a 1 1/2 inch barrel will give shorter hair a more wavy look. Trust me, go with the 1 1/4 inch barrel! :)

  • @juilarockx 1-1/4 ones

  • @juilarockx you should probably get a 1 and 1/4 inch curling iron for loose curls but for tighter curls get a inch.

  • i hate the kink i found out how to get rid of it last month. an di LOVE hot tools i have the purple one. i do the same thing by seperating it too and i love it to. maybe hot stands for Helen Of Troy.(first 3 letters. lol

  • Hey, could you tell me what size you have in the purple one? I just bought the 1 1/2 inch barrel and the curls won't stay in my hair (which usually curls easily) Please let me know, thanks!!

  • i got the 1 inch

  • What brand would you recomend us to buy hot tools

  • thanks so much i was actully thinking of what size i should buy from hot tools! thanks so much!

  • I have a Conair professional curling iron and it's the best one I've ever owned and I paid less than $20 for it!

  • i have a conair too and i hate it so i bought the hot tools one (the purple one) and i love it i paid 40

  • I just bought the 3/4" today =) i luv it

  • hey i was wondering if you could do a video on scrunching your hair? if so that would be awesome! :)

  • Oh, that'd be nice! I second this idea!

And can you give some tips on straight hair and scrunching it? Thanks!

  • Did you bought this curling irons on the store or on the internet? How much was everything? thanks. bye.

  • the end was so funny!!!

  • Has anyone noticed a smell to their hair after using gold plated styling tools? I have a Helen of Troy 2" curling iron with gold plating and it always makes my hair stink like burn. What gives?

  • Yeah, I have that too! But I have a regular cheap curling iron.

  • uumm.. i have a hellen of troy and when i curl my hair it dosent curl and i have really long hiar and i dont know if thats the problem

  • are hot tools stuff sold IN STORES? instead of just online?

  • i have a hot tools curling iron and i hate it!!! is doesnt work!!

  • hot tools for the money is hands down the best brand out. she's right the purple ones suck because they are ceramic coated meaning not metal = no curls just smoothing.

i'm not going to lie, I love owning a salon. In stores hot tools are roughly 36-44 dollars. I pay 10-14 so fyi guys don't overpay ever for an iron.

and to find out size of your curling iron take a ruler and measure the diameter (a.k.a. the width).

  • I got all of those sizes from spaionic dot come! LOVE THEM!

  • thank you for the tips! my formal is coming up this saturday so im glad i watched this vid.

  • great video!

Im from Brazil and we dont have this brand here. Do you know any stores that send internationally? besides ebay and amazon?

    ty

  • So helpful!

I'm considering buying a hot tools marcel, but I haven't seen any video feedback on it, so I'm a little hesitant..

  • the hot tool did not really work for me, I have really thick hair, do you have any suggestion for other curling iron, I do not really care about the price, thank you!

  • I started buying hot tools because of pursebuzz and I'm so happy with them especially since I'm planning on going to cosmetology school!

  • ur awsum pusebuzz!

  • out of every one on youtube doing videos like these, you're the only one thats really worth watching, cause youre always so happy!!!

  • how do you find out what size your curling iron is?

like if you already took it outta the box.

  • get a ruller!!

  • the end of this video is funny. "i poop! A HA!"

lol. it's always good to watch your videos because you're very cheerful and brightens up the video even before it starts. Keep on doing a great job!

  • so do the hot tools have ceramic coating on them at all? i heard thats wat is best for your hair...

  • totally agree about the one inch!

  • Does anyone know where to get a 'Hot Tools' Curling iron in Canada???

  • I got mine at Zellers (:

  • Thanks!!!

  • Hey how much did you buy ur hot tools curling iron for at zellers

  • I bought mine on sale for like uhmm 10 - 14 dollars (canadian).

  • hey, where did you buy yours in Canada? and which curling iron?

  • I bought it in OakRidge shopping centre.

    In VANCOUVER, bc (:

  • and the curling iron is the hot tools iron (i think)

The one that was used in the vid (:

  • thanks, it sucks that you got it from vancouver, but i'll be at that mall in the summer!! lol

  • i love the way u laf and i also like this part the best: "Le Poop HAHAH"

  • THANKYOU

  • How much product to you have to use to make curling iron curls stay? My flat iron curls stay all day but I have the Hot Tools 1 1/4 and they fall out about and hour after doing it. VERYdisappointing as the size gives you lovely curls. Also, my hair seems to loose all shine if I use the curling iron. Not impressed.

  • do the hot tool ones ruin your hair since they are not curamic

  • How do you get your curls to stay in so well.

I use hairspray and it still falls out easily.

  • jennwuzx:

she explained that she used the lecoupe's perfect curl defining lotion to help the curls stay in. also, she doesnt touch the curls until theyre completely cool. (dont touch it when its hot.) she has this whole video on how she makes her curls stay in, i recommend you get to kno her a little better by watching her videos, she provides a billion helpful tips. (maybe more than a billion. lol we love you pursebuzz)

  • Your CuRlZ Are So PriiTy!

  • damn i got a 1 inch hot tools one and i kinda like the 1 1/4 better. ]= o well i'll deal it still looks good

  • like poop haha!lol lol

idk why but that is really funny to me

  • thats a lot of curling iron

  • you know how you said that the 1'' curling iron gives you the miley cyrus look... would you please be able to do that???

    Thanks..

    xxx

  • This was such a helpful video! I love how you showed how each iron curls. I'm shopping for a Hot Tools iron right now and was totally stuck on sizes, but after watching this video I know exactly what size to get!

  • i haft to get me one of those curling irons they look like they work really good and u dont haft to hold it forever to get that nice curl :)))

  • is the hot tools gold plated curler a ceramic iron? will it cause more or less damage to the hair as compared to a ceramic one?

  • I love the little blooper at the end :p

Thanks for the info, I'm not much better informed, so I can go and get a new curling iron. Thanks!

  • Really nice tips!I agree with you the 3/4 inch and the 1 1/4 inch are the best.

  • Le Poop! :D

  • I've seen a 1/2 inch curling iron and was really thinking of getting it since my hair is short and would like curls... What are 1/2 inch barrels good to do? Would they work for any styles for people with longer hair?

  • Comment removed

  • sooo helpful! thank you! :D

  • i've had 2 hot tools curling irons for a long time and after a while, the clamp starts sticking when i open and close it. did you have this prob with yours also?

  • i agree with her (11:31 through 11:35)

  • i feel so stupid.

i've avoided curling irons for 2 years because of the kink.

  • it's okay! i'm still stuck with trying to fix the kink but i learned how to curl without a clamp and my curls turn out beautiful! check out her videos with the funny looking curling iron that's like a cone and the enzo milano! it's a great help!

  • this helpeed so much!!! thank you.

  • my hair is pin straight and I bought the 1inch hot tools and it barely works! :[
