  • HE FINNALY DECIDED TO KEEP ON THE GAS!!!! MADE IT UP I SEE.

  • I used to have an 89 two door but i had to trade it in when the engine blew. I got a 2001 and I still have it but i miss my two door

  • not as capable as xterra? you got to be kidding! Pathfinders are Nissan's top of the line off-road vehicle.

    Nice Pathfinder by the way.

  • I would have bombed up there lol. Don't see what was so hard?

  • amyone know how to set timeing on one? i need to set it on my 88

  • Air down.......I had a 90 2dr V6 4x4 w/ 31 10.5s wasnt anywhere i couldnt go....I`ll be buyin it back soon!!

  • Had a 93...best offroader ive ever had..i miss it.

  • I just got a stock 2000 pathfinder. How much offroading can I do with it stock?

  • Quite a bit! Many will argue that the 96-04 model (R50) isn't as capable as the older models, but they are still quite capable in the dirt. Check out NPORA (linked in the video info), we have all the information you could ever want about off roading your pathfinder.

  • the R50 isnt as capable because it was designed from the outset as a soft roader, not an off roader like the D21 was.

  • True, but that doesn't mean that it can't hold it's own off road. While it's not as good as the WD21 or Xterra, it's still a good option for those who only go off roading every once in a while.

  • the newer ones are lower, made for comfort, but they are pretty capable. if all esle fails you could lift it a bit.

  • is your pathfinder stock?

  • Besides some minor mods, yes it's stock.

  • Madness...I love it!

  • wow nice super slicks in rock climbing lol. got a question aluminim or steel rims for off-roading?

  • I'm using the stock aluminum "lego" wheels. Haven't had any problems with them, nor have I heard of any issues. The stock steel wheels are known to gather mud really easy when mud wheeling, but otherwise they work well too AFAIK.

  • I could've done that in my pathfinder in 2wd lol.

  • Even with street tires... it's rock isn't it? Just back up a little, mash the gas, and let your suspension (assuming it's not stock... you ARE off road after all) keep the rubbers down :)

  • Driver is a noob... with a pathy you just back up and hammer it home up something as weak as that... unless I'm missing something.

Either that, or use 4WL to reduce tire spin and gain traction.

  • Crappy street tires = no traction.

I have since upgraded to better tires and have no problems with that obstacle.

  • Dude that was sweet.
