coo vid...not sure about the music though...but thx for the info on the POF ammo. I got some for free from a friend. I figured i probably wont get any accuracy out of it so i will just use it for plinkin.....Ive been shootin Remington 303 174grn and got some good results at 50yrds, but like u said the newer ammo is expensive.
@MrPettj Thanks and no problem. I'm glad to provide any information when I can, that's what's cool about Youtube. The POF ammo will shoot decently at 100 yards but beyond that I haven't had much luck with it.
@niki30435 When you are target shooting at a range it is much more accurate to prop your rifle up than it is to hold it by the fore stock. I have no problem holding the fore end, but it is pointless when you have it propped up by sandbags.
dude you suck...with my savage no 4 mk1 i can do a mad minute with 30 aimed rounds and at 300 meters and put all of them in an 6-8 inch pattern. you need to learn how to shoot faster and more accuratley, thats what the gun was designed to do
@niki30435 Good for you, do you have a video of you accomplishing this claim? The accuracy I achieved in this video is a good deal better than 6-8 inches. I was not attempting to perform a mad minute, I was simply shooting a few rounds of higher grade ammunition that I had and trying to see how well it did. I don't have enough ammunition to attempt a mad minute every time I go to the range.
Yes. There are several scope mounts that you can buy that replace the iron sights of the Lee Enfield. You just store the iron sights in a safe place and mount the rail in their place. I have yet to get one.
From what I have found Super X is more expensive than Federal and up there with everything else. Besides for that though, it's expensive for me compared to the Wolf, S&B, and surplus ammo that I am used to shooting. :) Thanks, I'm very satisfied with it. You are lucky to have a No. 5 and congrats on the Longbranch.
Super X is about as cheap as it gets for factory ammo. At least where I'm from. Reload your own and you will get better results. Regardless that's a nice shooting rifle. I have a 1945 No 5 ROF (F) and will soon be the owner of a No 4 Longbranch.
ROF stands for the Royal Ordnance Factory. ROF(F) stands for the Royal Ordnance Factory that was in Fazackerley, England, where my rifle was made. It's a suburb of Liverpool.
Music was unnecessary

everyone stop hating this guy, he is just shooting, it does not mater how he shoots, or how fast or how accurate.

Is there any way of putting a scope on one of these?

Federal Ammo is about$30.00 dollars were I live but it is really accurate. It gets about 2inch groups at a 120 yards.

Nice, Federal ammo is really good.

Thanks. I wish I could have, but I am short on ammo and money so conservatism with my ammo is key. :D
