@sydto Every student in Ontario Canada, where Degrassi is filmed, has to do at least 40 hours of volunteer work to graduate high school. Seems to be low compared to schools in your area. What kind of volunteering have you done to get your hours?

A grade 9 student, Sam's other passions include guitar, hockey, computers, and improv.

In 2008, Sam traveled to Ecuador with the organization "Free The Children". A documentary of the trip was made for MTV in Canada.

Most recently Sam played Curran Webster in the CTV movie Sticks and Stones.

He has also appeared in several short films including Almost Tragic and Little Holland.

Sam made his professional stage debut at age nine in Russell Hill at the Tarragon Theatre, and has also appeared in Waiting for Godot and The Girl Who Saw Everything.
