Christians really need to STOP!!!It is without question that our relationship with Christ should be second to none. But we are human. We have human emotions, and human issues. One of the biggest problems with the church today, is that it doesn't deal with real issues that we ALL deal with. We have plenty of artists making wonderful music about Jesus and his love. God is not just about the things we do but the relationships we keep. Everyone has that trouble in finding the one that is really for them and if it's God's will for them to be together. And this video show the reality of that. Being a christian and walking the straight and narrow is hard work and having companion that is not on the same track makes it twice as hard which she show in the vid and that's why she had to let him go. God is not just about the things we do but the relationships we keep. Everyone has that trouble in finding the one that is really for them and if it's God's will for them to be together. And this video show the reality of that. How can she/they make a christian video demonstrating love, marital interaction, sharing a bed (which implies intimacy) without establishing that they are married since neither on of them are wearing a wedding ring? (and I am not talking about that costume jewelry she wears that moves from finger to finger).
This video sends the wrong message. God does not bless living in sin. They should have known better than this.

Love the real life concept. We have to not sugar coat the truth. God sees all and forgives the heart of man. We must see the good and bad and know that it all work together for the good of those who love the Lord! Keep doing your thing LJ. Very inspiring and this is a crossover song to get the young women of today to say I really want my man to be Christ like!!! Lord you are awesome and keep flowing your blessings all over the nation in inspiration just like this!!!

I agree.. the message in the music is awesome. LJ has such a great gift for the glory of God and I look forward to hearing more from her. However, I must say, I was left a little conflicted with the video. Although it does touch on real life issues (awesome) but it almosts condones a live-in relationship (no wedding bands on anyone) and that concerned me. As Christians, yes, we need to understand the real issues but we have a responsibility to not endorse them. Great track, none-the-less.

I'm very rarely on You Tube but stumbled on this video. It is truly a blessing and I love the message in the video. I'm sure it will help a lot of Saints to not settle for just anyone. I pray they will listen deeply to the lyrics to "Make Him Like You". I've listened to it four times in the past 30 mins and have texted my daughter about it. Going to get the CD. This is a young woman with a huge talent. Let her minister to others in her own way. People need to stop turning others away from the church and God by being so critical. Also, this is a well done video with a great message (in my opinion).

@TwitterFiddleB The song is tilted "Make Him Like You"......,..so this video (even the lyrics), points out that she wants the Lord to make her mate in His image.....in other words, just as the Lord provides, she wants her mate to provide. Just like the Lord is faithful and true, she wants her mate to be the same :)

Mr. Knowles, please don't squander this woman's talent! Better yet, try not to water it down for the purpose of crossing-over. As usual, LJ sounds great. With that said, the video and the lyrics leaves me feeling a little conflicted.
