1. Fetuses aren't 'unborn,' they're fetuses. Don't pretend that the only difference between a fetus and a sentient human being is the passage through a birth canal.
2. Fetuses don't have rights to steal away, nor would it make any sense to give them any seeing as how they are just non-sentient masses of human tissue.
3 No person has any rights to the body of another, it makes no sense to grant such a right to a non-person.

I thought it was funny AND helpful to his argument. He was simply making light of the fact that you bestow the rights of full fledged humanity on zygotes/embyos/fetuses. The fetus is human, yes. It is also alive, much as a tree is alive. But it is tiny, undeveloped, non-sentient, and its existence does not trump the will of the woman carrying it. At least not until the fetus is sentient or viable, but unfortunately that is a grey area; there is no exact science to determine when that happens.

The simple fact is that a zygote/embryo/fetus are all stages of HUMAN LIFE. If you kill a zygote, it never becomes and embryo, if you kill and embryo, it never becomes a fetus, so on and so forth. I AM the zygote I was in 1977, just more developed. I don't believe that there is some type of moment of transformation where our humanity is suddenly bestowed upon us. When the sperm meets the egg, a separate organism is formed.
if you kill sperm you never get the zygote. and so on, and so forth. a separate organism isnt formed when the two gametes meet, this is why people like yourself are opposed to separating them from their host.

1. Fetuses aren't 'unborn,' they're fetuses. Don't pretend that the only difference between a fetus and a sentient human being is the passage through a birth canal.
2. Fetuses don't have rights to steal away, nor would it make any sense to give them any seeing as how they are just non-sentient masses of human tissue.
3 No person has any rights to the body of another, it makes no sense to grant such a right to a non-person.

The video was sped up when convenient.
That fetus was far older than described.
All medical research on fetal pain shows that it doesn't even have the structures for pain perception until very late.

The fetus was not ‘screaming’, that it was just the physical contortion of the fetus being prodded by a microscopic filament. If you're sleeping & someone pushes on your stomach you might open you mouth to exhale. That wasn't even an abortion, but a college medical lab of an amniocentesis. The ultrasound wasn't a real time video, still pictures, conveniently sped up when it needed to be.

I thought it was funny AND helpful to his argument. He was simply making light of the fact that you bestow the rights of full fledged humanity on zygotes/embyos/fetuses. The fetus is human, yes. It is also alive, much as a tree is alive. But it is tiny, undeveloped, non-sentient, and its existence does not trump the will of the woman carrying it. At least not until the fetus is sentient or viable, but unfortunately that is a grey area; there is no exact science to determine when that happens.

The simple fact is that a zygote/embryo/fetus are all stages of HUMAN LIFE. If you kill a zygote, it never becomes and embryo, if you kill and embryo, it never becomes a fetus, so on and so forth. I AM the zygote I was in 1977, just more developed. I don't believe that there is some type of moment of transformation where our humanity is suddenly bestowed upon us. When the sperm meets the egg, a separate organism is formed.

Bad taste? Do you even know HOW a baby is aborted? Im a pro-lifer & im attacked & called a fanatic....but look how you pro-choicers behave....you scream about your rights & then stomp all over anyone who doesnt agree with you...you name call, scream,yell & insult...I hope he was disgusted by the pictures, MOST pro-choicers dont have a clue about abortion except that its protected by law.

Oh my gosh! Scary behavior. When he kept coming back, oh my gosh. He could have really really hurt you. I wish that the cops could have been there sooner, no offense to them. But his behavior was really scary. Poor Ash, that would have been me, too, even though it's better not to swear. It's hard to keep your words civil when someone is going crazy on you like that.

I'd like to hear what happened to the man who pulled that sign out from under you. The wheels of justice often grind slowly, & sometimes not at all in this life.
