As soon as the end of the world was mentioned in Daniel chapter 9, I actually picked up the bible and checked it. There is no statement in that chapter regarding the end of the world. I grew up in a church where they thought 2000 was the end of the world. Even as a kid I knew it was too stupid to be true. I am a Christian by faith, but I apporach the bible from a logical point, questioning as I go. Thank god I was given a brain. The cult followers seem to be lacking one.
