Name of the mosque at 0:30 is : Masjed Asaleh, Its a well knowen mosque in the capital city of Yemen Sana'a. The mosque in at 0:38 is in the capital city as well but I can not remember where exactly. At 3:20 you can see a very old bridge called ' Sheharah' Its in Hajjah city four hours driving from the capital city.
And I can tell you that the desert is open for tourist ride at any time of the year. You are more welcome to visit Yemen :)
