A User can have an ipod playing through the amp to jam along...but most users don't know they can actually SAVE the song from the ipod into the amp and work with it through the pedal board. Also most users don't know how to have the amp recognize the pedal board as a looper controller etc......BUT when you do..the amp is extra awesome :)

Agrred! the amp has more killer functions than most people know. Most owners don't even know how to use most of the coolest options that the Spider Jam has to offer

YOu can use the line 6 floor boards to control the amps sounds/channels/functions. But it is a propietary pedal. You cannot use a different companies controller but you could put indivudual stomp boxes in front of it

@Laiho133 both, to control the functions of the amp, you'll need to use a line 6 board like the fbvexpress or better...fbv shortboard.....as far as pedals go....plug your guitar into any stompbox and then in to the front end of the amp...good to go
