Why didn't he just do the same in End of Time? Wasn't he wearing shoes?

@LegoDaleks What makes you think I was cleaning up a mess? I was pointing out that The Doctor has died from radiation before. It's not impossible that it could happen again. I will also admit that I haven't really seen that much of the old series, but that's mostly because I don't have easy access to it, and I was not yet born, since the old series cuts off in 1989. I just did research on the old stuff.

I was born in 1990, I was lucky that my parents owned like 40 DW tapes though. I have seen all the others on TV & the net. You can find almost every, if not every DW on the net if you're interested. Best to watch them in order - talking from experience. Does UKGold still show them?

The eighth doctor regenerated into the ninth doctor because he was injured in the time war but it was never on tv because the time war wasn't telivised
@1997muffinman Untrue. The series consisting of 1rst-8th Dr. is separate from nu-hu. That's why there's a clear regeneration seen from 7th-8th, but never from 8th-9th, cuz it didn't happen. The nu-doctor's are probably just very inaccurate, disturbed clones, or just some weirdo with an identity crisis.
@wvdb2217 Galiffrey still exists. Didn't you see End of Time? RTD contradicts the "events" of the timewar every two seconds. So it most probably didn't happen since all of its effects have been undone by subsequent stories.
I agree with the others, I've seen quite a few 8th to 9th Regenerations and this is by far the best one, as the uploader says..."less is more" and in this case they were spot on
My ONLY suggestion is maybe go a little brighter on the regeneration effect, so you can maybe just make out the changes. But that's more along the lines of "that's how I would've done it!" Fantastic!
you must be extremely proud of this piece as it is without a doubt the best 8-9 regeneration scene out there. Well done. Is this shot in isolation or does it go together with some other fan epic?
Actually I like that there isn't an overabundance of the sparkles that the current regenerations have. This is like a perfect bridge between the Classic and New series style regenerations.
Not sure if you could have done it, but the doctor regenerations (at least in the last several years) have been much more....glowy. I think you could slow it down if you could find a way to add more fiery affect. The morphing worked great though.
Very nice! Something about his hand is a little off... but overall very awesome!

@Zaephyer The 10th shows that he is immune to it in Smith & Jones. And if you hadn't noticed ReTarD likes to dismiss almost everything in the original series, so we can't assume that what happened in the original series has anything to do with Nu-hu. e.g. in the original series the Dr wasn't an over-emotional, irrational, teenage, cartoon Casanova who can control the TARDIS but only chooses to land in present-day Cardiff, waves a magic wand about & never changes personality after he regenerates.

@LegoDaleks What makes you think I was cleaning up a mess? I was pointing out that The Doctor has died from radiation before. It's not impossible that it could happen again. I will also admit that I haven't really seen that much of the old series, but that's mostly because I don't have easy access to it, and I was not yet born, since the old series cuts off in 1989. I just did research on the old stuff.

@Zaephyer Even though that would be consistent with Planet of the Spiders, but I'm sure that is just fortuitously so, it is completely inconsistent with Smith & Jones (which was also 10 & also "written" by ReTarD)
I was born in 1990, I was lucky that my parents owned like 40 DW tapes though. I have seen all the others on TV & the net. You can find almost every, if not every DW on the net if you're interested. Best to watch them in order - talking from experience. Does UKGold still show them?

@LegoDaleks Well, I am not sure exactly, but wasn't the radiation he had in his body a specific type? Maybe the type of radiation the tenth Doctor died from later was a different type, and way to much to handle before it was absorbed into his body? The first time in Smith and Jones he had the shake it out of him really quick. So maybe that explains that part....

Yes, "maybe" this & "maybe" that, you can make all the conjecture you like, ReTarD just made a massive error, it's obvious he didn't even consider what he had written in Smith & Jones, he could have easily come up with the explanation that you're trying to come up with.

@LegoDaleks Are you blind? he died b/c of the shear amount of Radiation in the box. The Doctor said the radiation could kill any thing so it killed him. I am a old Who fan but this is a continuation. the old series was not with out its consistencies either.

@zentag770 Nu-hu is written by 1 guy who lives in the age of the internet&DVD's, so there's no excuse for consistency errors. The original DW was always changing hands & they had neither the internet or DVD's yet they managed to have fewer consistency errors than Nu-hu. Not only is Nu-hu inconsistent with the original DW, but it also inconsistent within itself. Girli.t.Firepl. contradicts his everlasting love for Rose, EndofTime contradicts every mention he made of him being the last of his kind

The eighth doctor regenerated into the ninth doctor because he was injured in the time war but it was never on tv because the time war wasn't telivised

@1997muffinman Untrue. The series consisting of 1rst-8th Dr. is separate from nu-hu. That's why there's a clear regeneration seen from 7th-8th, but never from 8th-9th, cuz it didn't happen. The nu-doctor's are probably just very inaccurate, disturbed clones, or just some weirdo with an identity crisis.

@wvdb2217 Galiffrey still exists. Didn't you see End of Time? RTD contradicts the "events" of the timewar every two seconds. So it most probably didn't happen since all of its effects have been undone by subsequent stories.

My ONLY suggestion is maybe go a little brighter on the regeneration effect, so you can maybe just make out the changes. But that's more along the lines of "that's how I would've done it!" Fantastic!

Actually I like that there isn't an overabundance of the sparkles that the current regenerations have. This is like a perfect bridge between the Classic and New series style regenerations.

Not sure if you could have done it, but the doctor regenerations (at least in the last several years) have been much more....glowy. I think you could slow it down if you could find a way to add more fiery affect. The morphing worked great though.
