why did peters songs usually suck? i like his solo kiss lp but the rest of his solo stuff went to the pawn shop. and rarely did i like his kiss songs. go baby driver is ok i like that one. but dirty living ack! just my opinion please nobody be insulted. i like aces stuff alot though.

Peter wrote this as a way to get back at Gene and Paul because he didn't like Gene and Paul always telling him what to do. Write to Peter and he will tell you that this wasn't going on the Destroyer Record, He was just blowing off steam while they were doing the Destroyer recordings.

Obviously, this song was still being worked on structurally and what not, but the chorus has a good hook and attitude and could've been worked into a pretty good heavy song although it would've been a better fit for Rock-N-Roll Over instead of Destroyer.

Thats what Ive been trying to tell people ever since Ace kept on fucking up KISS by not being able to tour and when he started getting too drunk to play live and they started using ghost players backstage and prerecorded solos...ect ect...I love Ace but when your music suffers over your inability to produce quality tours and music for your fans...then its probobly time to make a decision on continuing to fuck up or to get clean and stay professional!!

Great singing by Peter, but it just didn't belong in Destroyer. They did the right thing leaving it out, it lacks that edge the other songs have. Funny, the drumming sounds a lot like Eric Carr's to my ear.

Actually, your info is incorrect. This was not submitted by Peter, but by the producer of Destroyer, Bob Ezrin. He wasn't sure if they would have enough material, but they of course did so this was not used. Secondly, this was recorded AND released by the band Detective in 1977.
